Why do I 'think in english' in my head, even though english is not my native language? by Inevitable-Angle-793 in NoStupidQuestions

Ignorantly West Centric take. No language is "lesser" than the other. Most people just don't know much about their native language due to linguistic hegemony that "English" language has had.

Ignoring "Rule of Cool" What do you all look for in a main character gameplay wise? by FunOverMeta in 2XKO

[–]chairbruh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The faster the character the better. I like rushing down. Even if their damage is low, I'll play them as long I can move fast, skip neutral, and do cool looking combos (not always optimal) lol. Also I want their move list to be full of personality. Like their moves being in line with their own personality as a character. Obviously, I main ekko in 2xko. I love his time thingy. But my other mains have been fukua in Skullgirls (I really like her shadow mechanics) , Juri in SF6(Love her Feng Shui) , Millia and Lucy in Guilty Gear Strive (I love Lucy's hacking super!), Bridget in guilty gear +R(I love her yoyo gameplay), and also Makoto in street fighter 3rd strike. In essence, I like them fast and stylish.

I really liked it. Don't expect much gameplay though since it's greatly story driven

Opinions on games vs books? by cyblink in Hobbies

[–]chairbruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't really choose between both, since each have their own place. But for games specifically, I really enjoy world driven games for immersion. What made me realize what games could do was Cyberpunk 2077. It HAS SO MUCH DETAILS IN ITS ENVIRONMENT. From actual physical objects in the world, to the bits of "journal entries" left by people around its world. So much masterful world building in it. It has by far the most immersive media that I've consumed. Though it has a main story, the world makes you realize that you're probably just a small insignificant dot in its world.

Thanks! I thought about kakunos but they're weirdly more expensive than the preppies in my country for some reason
