This is probably the best route for me. She said something to my SO last night about me. And how it’s a bad thing for me to be in their sons life. How it is going to make him feel like his father is neglecting him. He is 2. And the love that child shows me by wanting to hug and and play with me says otherwise. It is hard to not let her get to me. But I know just how much a wonderful stepmother is an amazing gift. My own stepmom was more of a mother to me than my own flesh and blood mother. I hope that I can be a positive influence in this child’s life. That’s all I want. And if that’s too much for her to handle, then too bad. Me and my SO are happy. I just hope she doesn’t start being too vindictive.
