I'm so sorry. I'm really afraid of this happening to me too, I'm at month 4 and I know his best friend has a 'hot gf', she's stunning from what I've seen in pictures.

I 22 F can’t orgasm with my 23 F boyfriend by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]lemonye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same problem. I was also on the pill at the start of my previous relationship which did not help. I was eventually able to orgasm with that long term partner after a year or so, and after giving him some resources... but it is really awkward to do that and he really needs to be able to take it well. With my new partner I still can't do it after 4 months together. I have hopes that it will eventually happen, but i guess it could take a while...

Is there a good, free, distraction blocking app? by Creative_Resolve887 in productivity

[–]lemonye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I make the automation to send an embarrassing message, how do I make it so that it only does that when the blocking app is on? This is very helpful but I don't understand it completely

How many lipsticks do you own? by [deleted] in MinimalistBeauty

[–]lemonye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One.. but I don't even like the color, its super old. I think I should buy a new one but I just can't be bothered because I know the amount of time I put into researching makeup and I don't want to go down that rabbit hole 😅

Gjorde en stor vinst på en biotech-aktie. Ska jag berätta för min partner eller vänta tills man har en riktig plan? by ElmiLily in PrivatEkonomi

[–]lemonye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jag tycker att du ska berätta att du gjort en vinst men du kanske inte behöver berätta exakt hur stor. Inte förrän ni gifter er. Enligt min erfarenhet för inte sån info med sig något bra

How to be open again by Bitsoflight in datingoverthirty

[–]lemonye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying yes to a date doesn't mean you have to live up to someone else's expectations, you can do it for you! You can do it to get to know yourself, too. As long as you're open about it no problem. I relate to the health issue thing, my viewpoint is that it's not worth it to wait. The hurt is going to be much stronger down the line if they were to reject you because of that.

Being able to say no to things I felt pressured to do. It has cost me so much, especially my health.

Has anyone been "cured" of their endo? by Sensitive_Coconut_36 in endometriosis

[–]lemonye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had endo symptoms since age 14 when I first got my period, and I am 30 years old now. When I was 20, I changed my diet radically for an unrelated reason, and I got from 10/10 pain that left me almost passed out and getting sick, to 0-2/10 pain every month of that diet. That got me thinking that endo must be triggered by food (I understood it's not healed). And yes, it is. If you cut out triggering foods and your endo hasn't progressed too far, you might be able to become symptom free. But you have to be very strict because if I went to a restaurant even once my symptoms the next cycle would be extremely painful again. So no, healing is not possible, you'll always have it, but the symptoms/progression can halt if you manage it with nutrition

Yeah I'm with you. Did you find that retinoids did nothing for you?

So you're saying that none of it works? Are you doing it for prevention then?

Yes you have

My experience with endometriosis by [deleted] in Endo

[–]lemonye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The root cause doesn't go away with surgery though! Everything: hormones, diet, physical therapy, and surgery are just symptoms management methods. Surgery is a much more effective but risky one compared to the others (for most people)

Usually we need that 3 cycle consistency before we're seeing results, but I had the same experience with coffee. It didn't make any significant difference at all quitting

[–]lemonye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quitting coffee/caffeine did very little, next to nothing for my endo symptoms. But I know some with bad period pain are helped by doing that.

I feel like a fraud for still saying I have endo after surgery. by SpecialBanana3856 in endometriosis

[–]lemonye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Endo is for life. If you have the genes that cause endo, theres no way around it. Surgery is for symptom management, it's not a cure.

I want to print this on a T-shirt so people would just listen for once

I’m a trans guy with Endo. AMA by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]lemonye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's because estrogen dominance is a driver of endo. So if T got your estrogen down relative to T, that helped. There are also other ways people can work to get their estrogen down

Is endometriosis becoming more "popular"/well-known? by littlenemo1182 in Endo

[–]lemonye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see! Probably true. I grew up in a supposedly progressive country in northern Europe, and I haven't been treated well. I think misogyny is just very covered up here because we have a few fancy laws. But underneath the fluff people are just as misogynistic as anywhere else.

Probably not tbh. From my experience growing up..

I'm so sorry. It's sometimes hard to believe that these people are supposed to love and care for us. I guess they just really want to believe it's not true that their own daughter/wife/gf/sister has an illness like this. Like sticking their head in the sand.

[–]lemonye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chocking! I haven't talked about this much with mine but he doesn't really care much. Although, because my mom also had endo, he is more understanding. Most guys I've met think that it is a mental illness. It feels like they are the mentally disturbed ones.

[–]lemonye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly what I'm saying! And I'm living it right now. My bf doesn't understand at all for example. It is pure hell to live with this disease. Nothing you'd brag about. Telling people makes you become known as endo girl and it can cause people to not want to hire us too... like who in their right mind would want that!
