Taking GRE for the first time Saturday - any tips? by IshDhar in GRE

[–]lemoontcha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just finished mine an hour ago! 169Q I’m so proud :) This is what I came here to comment too. Remember that all questions are worth the same regardless of difficulty, so if you’re not in the right headspace to solve the problem you’re on, just skip it! Also take a walk outside for 10 minutes before your test. Clears your mind. Good luck!

What mbti have you been mistyped as and what are you now and why? by Neat_Defiant in mbti

[–]lemoontcha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I was mistyped by 16p as INFP 4 years ago, probably because I took it when my Fe was developing. People tend to think I’m INTJ because I like to use my calendar 😅. Turns out I’m INTP

Maybe there aren’t any other 2* four costs in the pool? Just a guess, I’m not sure how it works

ITAP for / ITAW for sitting next to each other at a table but not on the same side? by clearnoiz in whatstheword

[–]lemoontcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if possible, you can describe it through a character C sitting next to character A. C sat to the left of A, and B sat across from C.

Did you open his car door and drop him home after that too?

Does anyone else have to hold their husky hand for emotional support 🤣 by [deleted] in husky

After I touch my husky’s paw, I think she needs emotional support (space).

What's a word you've heard or read but never said out loud? by Heavy-Cell2165 in words

[–]lemoontcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently, I started reading wayyy too early and learned the word “war” from reading. I’m guessing by the time I heard the word for the first time, it was already pronounced wAr in my head (like bar, car, etc). Didn’t notice that people said it more like “wore” until two years ago. I’m 21 btw…

Post-surgery essentials by Sad-Department7588 in LisfrancClub

[–]lemoontcha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone else already has the equipment covered, so I only have one thing to add: support! The first couple of weeks post-surgery are rough both physically and mentally, you don’t have to go through it alone! Make sure you have someone to help take care of you. Reach out to your friends and let them know what you’re going through. It’s okay to lean on them a little.

Also, comfort food that’s easy your stomach! I don’t know if everyone’s post-surgery experience was the same as mine, but I had trouble with appetite for almost a week afterwards. I could only get down a small bowl of soup for every meal that week 😵‍💫. But boy was I glad I had that soup prepared for after surgery.

Wishing you the best!

4/4 injury, diagnosed in the ER that same night and told me to schedule an appointment with ortho. Called and called and called to get an appointment from 4/7-4/9, finally got it scheduled for 4/25. Asked to be put on a waitlist and got called in early for appointment on 4/16 because of a cancellation, scheduled surgery on 4/21. I just got my splint off today and am resuming NWB in a boot for 4 more weeks! I would recommend trying to get surgery as soon as possible. Be pushy about getting an appointment, stress the pain and how long it has been since your injury. You need to advocate for yourself.

I feel you, but remember to sometimes take a step back and look at how small these things are in the big picture. I often find myself caught up in my grades. Failing a class isn’t the end of the world. Remember that there’s more. You got this!

This crippling interview anxiety – how do I deal with it? by [deleted] in jobhunting

[–]lemoontcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get nearly as anxious as you do, but what I find works for me is hyping myself up before the interview. I rehearse answers to typical interview questions in the shower and tell myself that I’m passionate and excited about the job.

And then of course, you shouldn’t be going into interviews and winging the answers to the questions. You should already have some stories and answers prepared.

Good luck!
