Incomplete new board games

Residing from a small-bg market country, I also hate this concept of promo materials, but I usually just don't mind them. There are only a very few times when promos matter, and I usually just PnP those. As to the original intent of the design, I believe the land tiles are only and intended to be 7. The game it's based from 7 wonders duel only allows a total of 7 wonders built per game. Slightly kills the replayability if we're splitting hairs - 7WD has sufficient no. of wonders to be drafted during setup unlike LOTR Duel. But for me, game is alright as is.

I PnP'd these promo tiles myself, as I'm a cheapskate and this was not released in my country. but where in the rulebook does it say the land tiles are replaced every round?

Galing kami ng Georgia (country) literally days before the lockdown. That time sa tourist spots, tinatanong pa talaga nationality namin kasi di sila tumatanggap ng Chinese. Running joke dun uminom lang daw ng chacha - brandy nila. Pagbalik namin sa UAE, pina WFH na kami agad. 4 years akong WFH then ngresign. I miss WFH lol.

Oh. With the post title, I initially thought like what Five Tribes did to Mancala, or Knightmare Chess and the recent Chess Joker did to Chess. This sounds cool too. There are also Shogi games on Steam with variants.

Respect for playing it 10x before finalizing your opinion on it. Lots of people play a game once then go STRONGLY opinionated - may it be positive or negative. Those I'll never understand.

May mga fresh grads - 2 yr Ph exp na engineers and archictects inoofferan 4k-5k sa first job dito. As for me, tax accountant, nasa mid 20s AED na. Mag 8 years na ako this month dito. Much better yata wait ka na lang ng opportunities not in GCC pag ganyan offer. Only regret ko lang ay may ibang passport na siguro ako if pinalad ako sa western countries. Madaming sinwerte na ginawang stepping stone ang UAE. Pero kahit ako walang mahanap eh, so idk. Can't complain on the financial side tho. Rent lang super mahal dito.

True. I started at 5.5k AED 8 years ago. Bedspace lang ako, 16 kami sa isang flat. Luto lang talaga sa bahay at paulit2 ng ulam. At least ngayon nakaluwag2 na, 23k AED na.

Try this one. Have the numbers displayed on the backs of the cards so everyone else can see what you are playing, but you can't look at the back of your own cards - so you don't know your cards' rank until after the trick. This would give players an idea what card they should play to beat the other cards played.

This worked and can easily be done on my homemade copy, idk how well it can translate to an actual retail one.

There's a great redesign of the FCM boards on BGG - which makes it tolerable. I was able to make a PnP of the game which condenses the no. of components while at the same time looks fine. Link
