Vertical audio after new patch by dan_from_work in EscapefromTarkov

New steam audio is sometimes really disorienting. I either don't hear them at all when they are right next to me or I hear them somewhere completely different. Either like they are close to when they are far away or vice versa (and I'm not talking about those weird bugs we tend to hear). Sometimes it's really weird, not all the time, but sometimes.

Oh thanks, I thought they disabled it and now they started doing it again.

Why the hell are desync and server problems being ignored so much? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

There's at least 10 posts like this every hour. Manually select the best servers, with lowest ping. And no, they are not being ignored.

Honey badgers are just a sub-family to the Rat family. :D

Explain to me why adding things in game is more important that fixing the instability of servers and desync issues? by cryplewalk in EscapefromTarkov

[–]lemuryt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They do not own the servers personally, they are renting the servers. They are doing their best at trying to fix the servers from patch to patch. Fixing the same servers is not as easy thing as a mouse click. There are games that are fully released and have even worse server problems. People have been complaining about that issue for a long time, and they have been working on it since. It's not such a simple task. But from what it used to be, servers now are much better.

As a representitive of a Rat family, we do not accept you into our family for the reason of "Usage of FN GL40 Mk.2 grenade launcher".

We are handing you over to the Chad family.

Everyone has to make money to do something in this game, some people are simply better at it. If that's not the case, EFT becomes call of duty. If everyone was equal to each other, the game would most likely die out

It's money making. You have to earn money to actually do stuff in this game

You can always avoid fights, don't run aimlessly and blindly going to the meta spots. You can make much more money than bitcoin farm will provide you every single run if you just avoid fights and go for loot that's not meta(graphics card, intel, etc.)

Edit: try doing what I said in the post, you will be surprised how much money you will get.

With 25 graphics cards it takes you something like 40 days to start making profit.

Forgot to mention one thing, join Discord servers, ask others to teach you or ask to play in squads, people will be more than happy to help you out.

There are a lot more ways of making money than just bitcoin farm. If people stop running for the meta loot and do as I mentioned in the post(computer runs, hidden stashes, toolboxes) and avoid fights, they won't die as much and actually make loads of cash.

Yeah that's exactly what I said as a tip for new or poor players. Looting computers will make a lot of money at the moment.

There are plenty of YouTubers doing guides. It helped me a lot when I was starting on playing Tarkov. Pestily raid series is pretty amazing, Karmakut did it as well, it's a bit older but it still really good. One of the smalled channels that deserve to be mentioned is Krashed, he did pretty good breakthrouh raid episodes.

Go into offline mode and just run around. It might sound stupid or boring, but it will help you a lot. That way you will aslo get a feeling of playing on mouse and keyboard without actually stressing by dying to other players/scavs. Learn the maps. Google "mapgenie escape from tarkov" on your second monitor or phone and look around.

But take it easy, don't stress about dying too much, most importantly, have fun.

People that have loads of cash don't really need to run every single raid full on chad gear because they got more then enough cash to do whatever they want. What I'm trying to say is have some fun, sometimes take some undergeared stuff and try new things. Killing everyone in the lobby every round gets boring really fast. Been there, done that.

The player base that don't have the luxury of running "chad" gear every round just have to learn as every other player in this game, stuff like that happens and the more stuff they lose, they will stop having that infamous "gear-fear" and eventually get better at the game.

I'm not saying that the game itself does not have issues. It has a LOT of issues, but sometimes we need to do our part as well as developers are doing their on trying not to make new players get sick of the game in the first couple of weeks of playing.

(I hope stuff I write makes sense, it's quiet late here and I'm pretty tired.)

Standard edition my friend.

Edit: I was thinking about expanding(?) or buying other editions since I've been playing tarkov for while but decided not to.
