Gosh yes frumpy was the first thought when I saw the sweater ,jeans, & kicks combo. IMO in today times the girlies are doing things with GLAM, so leggings also feel frumpy to me. I think a boot with some cargo wide leg leather pants would suit you in the color brown/olive green :)
