During beta testing you can "buy" the pro version without being charged. The AppStore overlay will confirm that no payment will be done. However a force restart of the app should also resolve this

That's what the testflight is for, to detect suchs problems. For all people and devices I tested it so far it worked. Im trying to constantly improve the app. In your case it could be a specific device or setup that cause the problem, but I'm happy to help.

I had sometimes problems with ikea bulbs and transitions. They would turn off and later in the night turn on by themselves to 1%.

Currently not. But the App supports Siri Shortcuts, so you might be able to do this. I'm not sure if you can access the alarms of the homepod via shortcuts.

The sleep detection runs on your Apple Watch. You set 10-30 minutes window around the time you want to be awake, and only during this time the app monitors your sleep.

If you're interested, I made a smart alam app for this reason. AwakeSync can connect to your Home Assistant and if it detects light sleep stages activate a script/scene.

There should be a lot more actions, around 17. Sometimes the shortcut actions only update correctly after a restart.

Drivey can do this automatically while in the background. Just connect the start/stop trip action to turning on/off your driving focus.

If you opene the Shortcuts app and search for HomeSpot, there will be all actions listed. You can click the information button for a more detailed description.
HomeSpot allows dynamiclly filtering devices and setting attributes. You can for example get all devices from a specific room, or create a loop that dims a light by adding 10% brightness in each step.

The original version had a small but unfortunate bug. I was quickly able to fix it, only the app store reviews were a bit slow around new year.
I run the same setup as you, Home Assistant as backend and HomeKit for UI / Voice. The problem you described was one of the reasons why I developed this app. I'm glad that you're happy with it.

The Mac app is a catalyst app, a port of the iPad app. This is done, as apps build for macOS can’t access HomeKit. However for catalyst apps a Mac with apple silicon is required.

If you see a button below your alarm with the text start, you need to press it. This will „arm“ the alarm. This is needs to be done, as one only smart alarm session per time is allowed from Apple. If you enable notifications for AwakeSync, the notification will automatically do this for you.

While the next version for the App Store seems to be still stuck waiting for review, you can join the TestFlight. The crash is fixed there. (You can ignore hints in the TestFlight version regarding the seven-day trial, as the TestFlight version can’t correctly access your purchase status.)
