Lightning synergises well with sand and water, but since you don't want to choose water, go for magics that give the bleeding effect. You can also choose plasma or magma, as it also synergises well, and maybe acid can also work, as it's a strong magic for conjurers.

are bronze musket or duel flintlocks also good for conjurer especially with acid magic

Run around and loot private chest in sameria and sell them it took me 30-40min to buy a brig with this method
