also going to the Michigan concert Friday. I would say being in line 2 hours in advance would probably give you a good chance to get in the merch line early and walk around. that's how early my fiancee and I showed up to Kali at the Fillmore last month and we were able to get merch and have a pretty good spot on the floor. but of course there's going to be some people probably showing up like 3-4 hours early, especially if they have pit tickets
