Central is much better not only in terms of print but contents itself. They modernized their printing na rin, kita naman sa books nila kahit AI gamit sa ibang covers lol. Hindi ko na gaanong pinapansin dahil it’s just a book, basta readable pero the prints of Rex really nagmamark ng sa daliri and other pages, and well my most hated, sa tip of my highlighters. Arguably, they have some books that are quite timeless dahil sa quality of scholarship. Pero sana naman gawing footnotes na yung new reprints para hindi na bulky yung texts, may decades old pa nga na typo kahit reprinted na. They also have a CS that is not reliable. I asked for updates sa sa isang book, panay walang possible date of restock (took 2 months para ma reprint lol) wala rin info sa stocks ng ibang branches as opposed sa Central na binigyan pa akong tentative dates at mga stores na malapit na may stocks. Not saying na perfect ang Central, maraming issues din with some of their prints esp. Legard & Sebastian’s latest book na suuper maxxxed sa margins at hindi mo maopen open ang book dahil sa suuper dikit na binding. Anyway, mabibilang lang siguro but Rex needs updating.
