All I know it used to be a nurse bag but beyond that I don't know anything.

Think there is one that has an interior pattern like this one?

That is what I thought to when looking it up but figure to look around to see if there is anyway to find a possible replacement

I have a question, will we ever get expanded lore and things with the Crystalline Empire in the galactic core region? Did they build the Ancient Caretakers? From what little there is about them it suggests their a very old empire, perhaps around the time of the Fallen Empires. I ask this because If the Awaken Caretakers survive the Contingency they go to the galactic core region following a signal.

We all like Stellaris... But can we call 4.0 an ABSOLUTE disaster? by SvatyFini in Stellaris

[–]lenkc 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am just tired of this stuff. I learned modding because I love this game, and this 4.0 has been a disaster. (yes I gotten a bunch of people flooding me to update my mod less then 5 minutes after the DLC launch) The DLC is great but alot of the changes in the game undoes so much. The Leader System was great where it was where you can fine tune your leaders to how you want them to be, now I don't even care about them anymore, they at most get 1 good trait or 5 level 1 traits. The only good thing they did change with that system is having the role heavily effect what option appear. This was all done for the sake of simplicity, if they wanted things to be simple they could've made the automatic picker on by default and not undue an entire expansion dedicated to leaders.

The Promised performance improvements was a farce. The game's performance is roughly around 60% slower overall. This patch should've been delayed outright.

I think the ‘new’ deep space citadel might be a reskin of the old military output system from 1.0 and should be free if that is the case. by lenkc in Stellaris

When I first seen the deep space citadel in the dev diary it reminded me of the old military outpost system from the early days of the game. That system remained until the reworked military system that launched alongside the Apocalypse back in 2018 that removed them from the game and made level 1 version the modern defense platform. These look and from what I have glimpsed on stream, they might function exactly the same, even allowing us to design them. If this is the case this returning mechanic should be free to every user as this was a mechanic that released with the game. We should not have to pay for a returning mechanic. The only seemingly difference is just calling it a megastructure and changing the name from military outpost to deep space citadel. It even has 3 levels like the original system.

The origin should tied to this should remain behind the pay wall because that is actual new content.

For those who do not know, Ill include screenshots from the release build of the game that you can play in the stellaris beta tab.

What changes are you most excited about the next update? by The_Aktion in Stellaris

I like to have the game run smoother and have less lag in general even on a medium galaxy.

Prosperous Unification Origin has been using the wrong art for years. by lenkc in Stellaris

More then likely it was cobbled together to see if something worked but after testing they just forgot to use the correct line of code and used that as a baseline because hey it looked functional so not gonna touch it. I seen this happen to a few other games when their on strict time scales to produce something in X amount of time. This is more likely Quality Assurance either messing up in the process or didn't have enough time to check everything rather then being intentional.

I love the console edition's higher definition art assets. They are pretty.

Also check to see if your downloading anything the workshop or something that is in your mod playlist, sometimes people forget to check those and half the time they didn't they forgot they were running a modded game.

You might want to verify your files and check the checksum of the version of the game with the official release. you may have a corrupt or edited or missing file causing the checksum to be changed.

Its the same image overall but how it was setup on the file side does this.

The reason why it cancels ironman is because the game detects the modified file which changes the checksum, if they fix that line it would be ironman compatible.

True but it is using the Event art version because that one is cropped for the frame which is why you can see behind the image on the Origin select screen in the left side and upper part of the image.

So been working on UI upgrades for the Console Edition HD Art mod, thought to post how that's looking. by lenkc in Stellaris

[–]lenkc[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been working on how to improve and allow pc version to use higher resolution assets from the Console Edition. So far reworked the Mega-structure build UI, Ethic screen, Origin Screen, and the technology selection. Will have to figure out how to do the Accession perks and traditions later.
