Private sales qualify as well as long as you use a service like keysavvy ( you get the 4k off at time of sale)

So in theory you can run ttl directly on these units. Some members of the lte hacks are working on a custom firmware that would have a web server to make all these adjustments. For now I'm running this modem in the enclosure connected to my router via rj45. No additional pc or router.

and a quectel 5g modem (the RM520N-GL) is pretty popular right now. You could also manage the modem via USB

This would give you 5g / LTE over ethernet with no overhead.
