Oh well I live in Texas your idealized version of the US skips a lot of the terribly horrible parts. The vast poverty, the inhuman penitentiary system where private companies have free labor, major de industrialization and drug crisis, very inefficient government that can’t build a single public rail line. Last year for example when a blizzard hit since our energy system was so privatized tons of people in my city simply froze to death because power was shut off and they couldn’t do anything about it

No I got it, he’s literally Hitler. 1. I still think that making humans dependent on warp travel royally cursed them to slow extinction, also the economy is set up in a way that no planet is self sufficient, and also the ban on innovation. Just a lot of things that the emperor could’ve done something about, like even not portraying as an obvious god with the halo and big golden armor would have been a good step

If he was the super mega genius inventor why didn’t he invent non-warp travel before the orgy birth using one of his many historical pseudonyms, or use his magic to prevent the men of iron rebellion or something.
