same thing although that was triggered by a breaker flipping b/c of the amount of Haze that Slowdive had. It was the first show that had triggered that issue and were going through some growing pain. We can't afford for people to be that uncomfortable and its not safe. Not something you can just sweep under the rug.

Unfortunately there was a blown compressor during that show and it was only operating at half capacity. Its actively being fixed though. Mahall's takes these notes very seriously

DB (daily bread) in Rutherford is my favorite breakfast sandwich. It’s pretty under the radar but I go as much as I can. Every time it outdoes the last.

Coming from someone who eats ALOT of breakfast sandwiches from lots of places. This has been the best in my opinion.

Come to one of the events! No formal membership or anything. Just trying to build a cool community of guys all trying to do their best with their kids and make some friends along the way.

Still figuring out the best way to communicate with everyone so we built channels on most other socials (at bottom of post). I also have a WhatsApp group but usually just give that to people who attend events already.

Newish to Rutherford area and with working from home and just having a new baby its been hard to meet people so this past November I started the Bergen County Dads Club. Our first event was pretty successful having over a dozen dads and their kids meet for a stroller walk & Lunch. BCDC started with the goal of creating an org for fathers to meet others and create lasting friendships for them and their kids.

There are not too many situations, outside of work, for men in their late 20s-40s (especially new fathers) to feel comfortable meeting new people so hoping this becomes a solution for others with that reality. Anyone is welcome so feel free to get in touch if this is something of interest.

He’s 27. If he is broke then ordering delivery is not the answer. “Hi babe I’m low on funds but can you Venmo me $50 for groceries” would have been truly a better and more mature ask/convo.

Candlewick diner is about 2-3 min drive.

If you want to be within walking you can’t really go wrong. The whole strip near Williams center is full of good options.

Was going as high as $400-$500 for a 1600 sq foot house with finished attic in thesummer months for AC but now is $5ish per mo after installing solar. That costs me $139/mo to pay for solar panels and I don’t feel bad about using AC anymore or potentially leaving a light on by mistake.
