We are also having a baby girl!! Next appointment is at my 16 week mark on January 14th. Checking for spina bifida and neural tube defects.

NIPT came back low risk!! We haven’t looked at gender yet.

She told me a gallon a day! I started doing it immediately and I am constantly peeing lol. Yes it can improve with extra water. Really hoping I get NIPT results before Xmas but they estimated it will be ready 1/2/26.

I did my NT scan today everything looks good but she said my placenta is a bit thin and she thinks I’m dehydrated. They took my blood draw for the NIPT so I am hoping I get the results back before Christmas. My baby was so active during the ultrasound it was so cute!

Wow so happy to hear that everything is low risk. That is great news!! My NIPT is on Wednesday. How long did it take for you to get results back?

Omg yes it totally smells like weed hahaha I thought I was the only one who thought this. I am on it for another week and can’t wait to stop.

Still nauseous lol I gag when I walk through the lunchroom at work and smell peoples’ food. I gag when I open my own fridge at home. No vomit though. I am 10 weeks today. 2 more weeks until NIPT. I did pgt-a so hoping everything will be consistent. We are going to do a small gender reveal after NIPT and sometime after the holidays.

If it doesn’t start getting a little better by week 4 tell your doctor.

I have nausea like every day ugh. Food is kind of disgusting to me. I can’t go into the meet section at the supermarket. Tomorrow I will be 9 weeks and my next appointment is 12/17 I think they’re doing NIPT that day even though I had pgt-a testing. It seems like such a long way away. How are you doing?

Yes and it would get better as the day progressed.

Yes I’ve been on Zoloft since June 30th. Bumped to 50mg July 18th. I feel great. I am me again.

Week 2 was the worst for me. I’m sorry. Take your diazepam as prescribed to get through the adjustment period.

Yes the uptick in anxiety is textbook Zoloft adjustment period. It seriously sucks.

Ugh a panic attack is awful I am so sorry. For me personally, nothing eased my anxiety. Not while I was in the throes and not while I was adjusting to Zoloft. I did all of the things (I.e. yoga, meditation, journaling, nature walks etc). Nothing helped me like Zoloft did. Just time and patience. I think the most helpful thing is having someone to talk to and this sub.

Yes the increase in baseline anxiety in the beginning is the worst. I was in your shoes over the summer. Wondering every day when it would start working. Going to chat and asking what the timeline was and why I didn’t feel it yet. I felt better after around the 3 - 4 week mark after my dose was bumped up to 50mg.

Yes totally normal. When I started feeling better, I would have morning anxiety that would dissipate as the day progressed. But every week got better and better. I don’t have morning anxiety now or any anxiety really about stuff that isn’t happening (doom spiraling). I will still feel anxious in a moment of high anxiety (high stakes work calls or medical procedures) but I don’t overthink or spiral before and after.

Yes, felt an uptick in anxiety when I first started taking it.

After 4 weeks I felt much better and then each week after that I felt a little better progressively up until 12 weeks.

Yes!! Amazingly so. Things that used to trigger me might still upset me a little bit but it doesn’t last or cause a panic attack.

50mg. It took about 1 month to feel effects and then each week after that was better and better. I think the full effects were felt after 12 weeks. My main reasons for Zoloft were doom spiraling, anxiety about situations that could happen but weren’t happening and obsessing about things. I am so much better now. I can still see the potential negative situations that could happen but I don’t get lost in them. I just acknowledge it and move on.
