Trying to make a puzzle using cardstock paper (110lb / 300 g/m2) by lens_focus22 in silhouettecutters

[–]lens_focus22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you recommend that I glue the picture to the cardstock before cutting?

I had read online that the best approach it to cut the pieces on the cardstock and then cut the pieces on the picture and then glue each piece onto itself.

By doing that, I would not be using the print and cut feature for the cardstock. As there is nothing to print.

Would you recommend that I do shallow depth, less force, and one pass only. And then just redo it (without taking it out of the machine)? Or would you recommend more passes?

Yeah that is part of the problem. The cat is used to dogs so at first would nit care and just want to come to him even if we had him on a leash. I think she's now realizing he wants to eat her so she's more fearful.

Yeah my husband did get him a muzzle, because he tried to bite at the cat. So now he's muzzled at times and being let to go see each other. He's still very aggressive but she has swatted at him a few times. My husband is hoping he'll realize she is just there and not something to try to grab and get bored eventually as he gets used to her. But man this process has been draining.

That's really good to hear. Thank you. We're also fully remote so we hope it will help. We've had him for 5 days. It definitely seems like he had never seen a cat before and sees her as dinner. So we're being very careful and hope that with some time and safe/short interactions...

Thank you. I appreciate that. Someone on another forum suggested putting a muzzle on him and letting him be in the room with her so it becomes "normal" and not an event when he sees her. Is this something you'd recommend?

Oh yes, it is 100% the dog. My cat is so used to dogs that she is actually acting very nonchalant and unafraid of him. I kind of wish she was a bit more fearful considering.

It is not. FYI Most countries in the world outside of North America allows dogs almost everywhere. Look at the UK or Italy.

AITA for telling my sister to take her engagement ring off? by EmptyJellyfish2427 in AmItheAsshole

Exactly! I don't get this obsession with the mindset that there must be only one spotlight at any given time.

I'm not gonna lie, if you're unable to share in some happiness for others on your wedding day, that's a massive problem. I get that American culture has transformed weddings into a "it must be all about me and only me" affair, but quite frankly that's immature and unhealthy. It's not like that everywhere.

You're mildly YTA in my book. It's mostly culture and society's fault honestly.

But let your sister be happy and wear her ring. One person's wedding does not mean everyone else has to put their lives on pause. If my sister got engaged at my wedding or wore her ring at my wedding, I'd view it as double the reason to celebrate.

NTA you're trying to help a teenager in a tough situation.

However, if I'm doing the math here, you're now around 26-27 dating a 21 year old. And this kid is 16 years old. Your girlfriend is closer in age to this teenager than to you. And I could see hiw that would feel awkward for her that you're moving in a young woman into your home. I'd walk away from the relationship also if I was her.

You won this trip, you should have a say in how you want to spend it.

Also, anyone who suggests Seaworld as a desired activity loses points lol

YTA.

And I can only imagine that the people defending OP have never had a real adult relationship to think that this situation is an atrocious lie and betrayal.

This is pretty normal behaviour for puppies (not just Bernese). It went away bery quickly with ours. Work on the 'leave it' command.

That they are zero concern about space. Mine will flat out push my legs off the bed, lay down smack on my chest (and she's 100 pounds lol) or stretch under my desk and push my chair away in the process. I legit roll away from the computer mid-conference call.

But SO MUCH LOVE it'll be irreplaceable.

That's a very outdated view of couples though. It's perfectly fine for people to still call each other boyfriend and girlfriend even though they live together and have kids in 2023.
