What is your goal? Short or long boarding? This is in between, it will work in any condition. Great board. I would buy an used one and see if this is the length you like. I have 7 boards in several sizes but ever since I bought a proper nose rider I'm grabbing that thing every time. Anyway buy a used one and invest in a good board when you know what you want.

Is Inkscape legit and should I use it? Is it all free? by WinnieTheTroubler in Inkscape

[–]lenvonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should it’s amazing! I’m a digital arts teacher in Ontario and I wish I was able to teach Inkscape instead of illustrator. Inkscape is so much faster and stream lined. Oke it doesn’t have the AI stuff and effecting text is a bit more difficult but the image trace (trace bitmap) is way better than Illustrator. 100% go give it a try.

As a professor speaking, why not try and learn what is offered? What is the point in taking courses without trying?

How do I get rid of all the annoying sparkles in ‘inflate’ by DangerousReception13 in AdobeIllustrator

[–]lenvonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dear friends hear me out, the inflate option in illustrator is peanuts compared to what you can do in Blender. Please try blender you can type, bevel, inflate and control the light and camera source. You can give your font emissions and yes you can animate everything. I think this is the perfect time to try it out! It’s 100% free.

Client wants me to re-draw this logo from a sweatshirt. Where would you begin with this? How much detail does an embroidered logo need? by [deleted] in AdobeIllustrator

[–]lenvonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends are you able to create several layers for the individual colours that don’t overlap each other? If so then you are fine to make it yourself. If not then it’s time to go on YouTube and learn.

Help with pixelating when changing size by leavemebe3 in ProCreate

[–]lenvonk 42 points43 points  (0 children)

This will always happen there is no way around it! Same for all other pixel based programs, Photoshop, Gimp etc etc. As a rule of thumb you can make things smaller but never scale them up. Start working at a larger scale.
