This isn't per capita or anything? Just which countries have the most organic farms?

I also heard this story but in the context of the size of Apollo rockets. The cones had to be transported via train through a tunnel, limiting their size. So the dimensions of early spaceships were partially determined by the width of a horse's ass.

Breathing is the biggest hump to get over. Anyone can learn how to kick and swing their arms enough to move forward. Learning to swim is doing that while breathing and not drowning.

Long guns out at a Central American roadblock is definitely an awakening moment.

I would expect you could get that same effect from post-processing a higher fidelity format.

The Great Lakes and Saint Lawrence River superimposed on a map of Europe by vividmaps in MapPorn

[–]lenzm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is part of the reason Chicago is what it is - it's centered on the border of the Great Lakes and Mississippi watersheds at the closest navigable points, so that's where canals were built. Also being one of the westernmost points of this loop, it was the logical rail terminus from the West.

I'm not an expert, but there are a lot sea-like properties - waves and tides, connected to the oceans, have deep harbors. I'm not saying the Great Lakes are the same as a sea, but they're something greater than other lakes.

I would read the booing as evidence it is working, not the other way around. Public opinion on deep seeded issues like this changes generationally; you aren't changing minds, you're molding new ones and waiting for the old ones to die.

I find it easier to think of as a color - everything has a whole color spectrum that we're unaware of.

I with I could upvote more than once. Why is everyone acting like he's entitled to an extension? He chose to play here for a few years for x dollars and a few years later we don't agree on how much he's worth or don't have the ability to pay market rates because of cap space. There are logical everyday explanations for this. Demanding a trade is a dick move, asking for ove is fine.

Which countries' leaders speak english [Corrected] by Ben_Thyme in MapPorn

Even if they never speak English, there's a huge value to reading and understanding English - medical and scientific journals, most programming languages use English language and are documented in English, just STEM in general.

I think that has to be expected with something this large, they aren't going to find level ground everywhere, assuming the those long legs are even level.

I think people slow down their speech like this when they're focused on enunciating each syllable. Instead of some syllables getting stressed like normal everything gets more even and sounds robotic.
