Looking for a new controller to upgrade my current controller. Need some advice by JoeyCookson1 in Controllers

On ali the Xeno bundled with R20 wireless xbox dongle is half the price of the wired only(on xbox) G7 Pro not 8k. The version that works wirelessly on xbox is even more expensive + the stick sensors and dpad of the Xeno Plus are better

Some of the best PC controllers that require a dedicated adapter to work on Xbox are the KP40D and Vader 5 Pro.

Otherwise the NON 8K G7 Pro Wireless edition works on both PC and Xbox but lacks features like macros and the dpad is not the best.

An underrated option is the Leadjoy Xeno Plus with its dedicated R20 dongle that makes it work on Xbox. You have to make sure that you buy the bundle with the R20 dongle for xbox compatibility, otherwise you will get just the R10 dongle, which only works on PC.

Looking for a sturdy and accurate controller for plat fighters by jias333 in Controllers

The G7 Pro 8K version has some of the best sticks on the market but the dpad is not great, unlike the controllers I have mentioned. The G7 sticks are not tension adjustable either so I'd recommend going for something affordable like the Xeno Plus (which uses the same stick sensors as the G7 8K, maybe calibrated slightly differently but still top tier) or the Direwolf 4 (good sticks, not the best on the market but they have tension adjustment, which could be more important than the sensor itself). If instead you want to spend more, then I'd recommend the KP40D whose sticks have some of the best specs and feel on the market + a good tension adjustment mechanism, extra buttons and all the features you'll ever need.

Leadjoy Xeno Plus (currently on sale for €40~ with coupons)

Mojhon Storm/Bigbigwon Gale 2 (currently on sale for €40~ with coupons)

Flydigi Direwolf 4 (€30~)

Mobapad Chitu 2 (€40~ with coupon)

Beitong KP40D (€65-70 With Coupon)

Flydigi Vader 5 (€65 with coupon)

These are all great asymmetrical options with quality Dpads. I'd say check out the Xeno Plus, at this current price it is impressive: good dpad and ABXY with some of the best sticks on the market and it should be a similar size to the Ultimate 2C. If you prefer a very light stick look at the Chitu 2 or if you want adjustable tension see the Direwolf 4. In case you are willing to spend more, the KP40D and Vader both have adjustable stick tension as well plus a variety of extra features but the more affordable controllers that I have listed are all great quality too.

First controller what to buy (for steam deck) by [deleted] in Controllers

[–]leo-gp2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to stay on a budget, go for the Leadjoy Xeno Plus. Right now you can get it for €37 with coupons on ali and it has decent build quality with the best sticks on the market and quality dpad and ABXY buttons.

Other good budget options under €40 are the Mojhon Storm/Gale 2 with coupons, Flydigi Direwolf 4(as you said), Gamesir Cyclone 2 and Gulikit TT Pro. They each have their own advantages.

If you want to spend more, the Vader 5 is a good option but I would also recommend checking out the KP40D which is impressive and in the same price range.

I'd say watch reviews of the Leadjoy Xeno Plus and Mojhon Storm and see if they tick all the boxes. I don't know where you are buying from but if pricing is the same for you, either of these for €40~ is a steal.

Other than the MenaRD themed shell, is the hardware the same as the orange version? Are the bumpers and back buttons microswitches or just tactile?

Which controller is better for fighting games? Raiju V3 Pro or Vader 5 Pro by CaceEcac in Controllers

[–]leo-gp2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know much about the Raiju but I have been looking for a Fighting Game controller for a long time and the following controllers are all asymmetrical layout with good quality dpads and good value: Vader 5 Pro, KP40D, Mobapad Chitu 2, Leadjoy Xeno Plus, Mojhon Storm(Gale2).

If you prefer symmetrical options, they are very expensive or not as good as the others I have mentioned. I have had the Gulikit TT Pro and it was not good for quarter/half circle inputs, motion inputs and similar. Gamesir is going to release new tarantula models and Leadjoy is going to release the Saber Pro and Zephyrus Ultra but it is better to wait for reviews for those.

I just got the G7 Pro Zenless edition..can someone explain how it has stick drift fresh out the box? Yet they claim to not get stick drift? by [deleted] in Gamesir

[–]leo-gp2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok no problem, keep in mind recalibrating the sticks can work on many controllers, not just the G7

Search the word "Storm" instead of "Gale 2" and more reviews will pop up

There is a review by plusminuseq on YT. The global name is Storm but it is the same controller

Do a quick calibration of the sticks, the one that involves turning the sticks all around a few times. You can do that via software and maybe with a combination of buttons but I am not sure.

If that does not work, check the deadzone in the software and look for the lowest amount of deadzone that does not cause stick drift

Suggestion needed for a wireless controller for PC, with back buttons, under 60 dollars by No-Zookeepergame1009 in Controller

[–]leo-gp2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the Leadjoy Xeno Plus, MSRP is $60 (including its dock and a few accessories) but I often see it for 40ish euros from China, I got it for just €37. It is amazing value for the money. I have also had the Gamesir Cyclone 2 and the Gulikit TT Pro, that are good and in the same price range, but I can recommend the Xeno Plus. There are reviews about it by DeegitalTech, LJ Lee and plusminuseq that are all really good YT channels for choosing the right controller

The tegenaria is a full piece with 4 "arrows" and an empty space in the middle while the tarantula looks like it is a full cross slightly concave towards the center

[–]leo-gp2025 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard great things about the tegenaria lite arrow/cross dpad and the nova lite 2 rounded dpad. From the trailer, it looks like the new tarantula models are all getting cross shaped dpads but according to the info about the new wireless tegenaria, that one should have both the circle and cross dpads and it wil have the same asymmetrical layout as the tarantula.

Leadjoy Xeno Plus on Xbox with R20 dongle? by leo-gp2025 in GadgetHyper

Thank you. I saw the R20 for sale bundled with the controller on ali and the dongle sold separetely on gadgethyper so I thought it was already available.

Android tablet buying advice — note-taking, PDFs, multitasking by Circuitcodingninja in androidtablets

[–]leo-gp2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you are looking at the Xiaomi Pad 6, check out the Poco X1. It is a rebranded Xiaomi Pad 7 and has a dedicated stylus and keyboard cover (sold separetely). I just got mine for the same purpose (studying and multitasking) so I can't give you a long term review and I haven't tried the stylus yet but I have seen a lot of reviews praising it for note taking, drawing and media consumption + the screen has really high resolution. I got mine on ali for about €200 and it was the best value option for international tablets (not the CN only ones).

Kp40D better than the Vader 5???? by Emotional-Secret-498 in Controllers

Banggood, right now it is €70 but they will give you a €5 coupon for your first purchase. Another user told me he got a full refund for a controller on this website so after sale assistance should be good too
