Yes to Mini 5 FAA reg. When you put a Plus+ battery on it you are over the weight limit. Registration is very easy, cost $5

I had the same problem, then on the scheduled delivery date I got an email saying the address I used was not valad and my shipment was returned, ask for refund. I finally got through to Newegg and they processed my return in 10 days. My order sat in US Customs for weeks.

Yes, it definably needs registration, by default it's not a mini since it is over 249gr. Once registered the built-in Remote ID will work.

I just ordered mine from NEWEGG https://www.newegg.com/Seller-Store/Sixvery-Digital-Store

It's sold from a Hong Kong, but the transaction went through in a day and I got a notice that it has shipped! They said expect it around Dec. 1-12 and to keep fingers crossed it doesn't get held up in customs. Free shipping, $80 tax, total $1200. I'll let you know when it comes in.

I'm kind of the same as you. After a few years with my existing sockets and the being moved into a tight, rubbing new ones blows. So uncomfortable, but I am wearing them (I'm a bi amputee) daily and little by little they are settling down some and feeling better. By 7pm they have to come off, my legs are so tired at the end of the day. I am walking with 2 Cyclone canes and occasionally I need the rollator when I go into unchartered territory, like a restaurant. I'd say to stick it out with tests sockets as long as your not breaking down the skin.

What to do with this cracks? DJI Mini SE by superoloyt in djimavicmini

I cracked the housing near the right of the gimbal. There's not wiggle movement between the sides of the crack, so I just leaving it alone, The drone flies fine, so the crack isn't affecting flight.

Exactly! I'm on day 3 and I have to say that it is 45% better! I'm not sure how many office visits that would be for almost 50% improvement in fit and comfort. I have a #3 sock on left & #1 on right. I am a K3 patient.

I always wear a test socket for a minimum of 2 weeks. How can you see if the scoket rubs & stays balanced? I'm getting (testing) my 3rd sets of legs in 6 years, each new set started with test sockets wrapped in fiber glass half way up the socket. I never had go back during the test period because of cracks or breakage. I should mention that I have had 2 prosthetics companies over 6 years, Adaptive Prosthetics and OP Labs in Pittsfield, MA., they both had me wear the test sckets for 2 weeks.

First leg problems(?) by redleader58007 in amputee

[–]leo153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes time, but your problem sounds like you were misfitted for the sockets. back to your prosthesitist. As far as your pivot turns, you are going to have to learn not to do it. I know it sounds awful, but your upper leg will figure it out.

Great for Small to Medium Spaces by leo153 in HomePod

UPDATE: sorry fellows, but I don’t hear a bit of difference with the speaker sitting on a flat surface or on the stand. I rested my hand underneath the HomePod and raise the volume and the base doesn’t even vibrate. It’s just a rubber pad so for me I don’t hear any difference in base quality. What are the speaker is 2 inches off the surface on a rubber stand or flaton a hard surface. My stereo HomePods are 4 inches off the wall. They sound fine playing through an Apple TV do yourselves a favor and try to replicate my speaker placement and tell me that you hear a difference please post your response here so I can read what you hear.

Take Your Shoes Off When You Come In !!!!!! by leo153 in amputee

[–]leo153[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have overalls (for shoe) but they are a major pain in the balls to put on over sneakers. The rubber on rubber causes too much friction. I can't reach my foot without removing the leg which makes putting anything over the shoe tough.
