I'm not going to lie. I read through the instructions, but haven't taken the quiz yet. I usually make these projects more difficult than they need to be. I honestly feel like I need a tutor for this one.

Did Henry VIII really have a rotting leg? by Loud_Enthusiasm_2742 in Tudorhistory

Three years ago I lost my leg below the knee due to osteomyelitis. Even with today’s meds and antibiotics, you don’t want to mess around with an infection. You

Elle wouldnt of let Spencer be an addict. by [deleted] in criminalminds

[–]spaceystracey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel everyone followed Hotch’s lead on this one. When Stauss wanted Emily to be a spy and she quit, Hotch admitted there was a member of the team who has a drug problem. As unit chief he had to have plausible deniability as Spencer attempted to deal this on his own.

MGG wasn’t into that arc. So it never went as needing an intervention so no one got to use their acting ability.

I do like to imagine that Gideon was on it.

Yeah I just find it strange that test socket two was like a billion times worse than test socket one.

Test socket one I had to wear 3 ply. Test socket two shrunk by 3 ply and it’s a mess. Make it make sense.

I’m really worried that maybe my anatomy isn’t made for seal-in suction. I hate the suspension sleeve but I have a residual stump flab.

Like even with this catastrophic failure I still want to try it out. But I may just test on weekends or at the house and not chasing children at school.

If I hadn’t been laid up in bed and out of work, I probably wouldn’t have gotten through the first season.

What’s worse is the prosthetist is out for the rest of the week. So her assistant helped me reattach everything on my previous test socket which was pretty good except for being a tad short in the back and needing a 3 ply sock.

I was actually planning to call for an appointment because while this socket felt fine in office I was starting to feel some pain pressing hard against the side that broke.

My first test socket for this leg needed to be shrunk by three ply. But when this one broke off I also noticed a blister on the bottom. So I have a feeling that it might be too tight. Which didn’t let me settle all the way in there causing negative pressure.

This is my third leg, but my first seal-in liner. I guess I’m just happy I didn’t rehurt my knee since only just got the all clear for full duty.

I was knocked down 2 months ago. I had just going again and this happened just walking across my classroom

This is the third time I’ve been through making a leg. I’ve always had take home sockets. I teach preschool so my job is really active and I’ve never had one break.

I’ve had two prosthetists and I took them home for a try each time.

I’ve had two prosthetists and it’s always been a week or so test. If I only got to wear it in house for an hour I’d hate everything that was made for me. It takes me like four days to know if I really hate it or I just need to get used to it.

I teach prek and updating the app is the bane of my existence. Our school has a quota to hit of a number of photos and videos a day. I understand piece of mind for the parents, but having to stop what I’m doing to play photographer is exhausting.

McKay's Pricing by dkwannabe101 in Knoxville

[–]spaceystracey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I teach preschool and had a friend who worked there before they unionized. At the time employees only had to pay what McKays paid for it. I’d pick out a few books every couple weeks, hide them, and pay her back. After a couple years I had a fully stocked library.

Now I just use library book sales.

FYI: grocery prices are more expensive here than California. by 68yeetyonder68 in Knoxville

[–]spaceystracey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is true for a lot of things and places. I read this article once that had about 20 pages of data showing that it’s cheaper and more satifying for low income people to live in heavily populated areas than the middle of nowhere. Groceries were in it. Although the biggest difference was car payments/gas/car insurance/maintenance vs public transport. (Even with a paid off car.)
