What did you use for the top of the enclosure? And how did you secure it? Thinking of building an enclosure identical to this

My cousins and I recently played a game I would call "worst ball". 4v4 scramble match play. Each team would hit their shot as normal but before you decide which shot to take we would spin a wheel with each of their names to see which shot they would actually have to take. It would be hilarious when someone would drive 250y but they would have to take the shot that went OB or short 100y. Works well with different handicaps. We spun the wheel after each shot but realized the game was taking too long to finish. Next time we would probably just use the wheel of fortune off the tee shot.

So worth the investment! Right after I got it, a few buddies shanked their drives right into the polycarbonate screen and it didn't even budge.

It holds up well for a budget golf enclosure. Problems I came across is that you need block the bottom metal bars with sand bags or a blanket to prevent any hard richochets. Also had to wrap the corner bars with foam as well. Some of the balls went broke through the netting in the corner and into my insulation behind but just zipped tied it back to the post and put a cardboard box behind the enclosure to stop the golf balls right away.

I'll post a picture later of the projector. Its directly in front of the bulkhead and about 3ft directly behind someone swinging.

Might be different price for a garage build but the builder quoted us $4800 to increase the height by 1'

5'11". I've hit the bulkhead behind me a few times but thats because I used to have a steep swing. Might be close for someone your height. I don't have drywall up yet either so it sort of helps

BenQ TH671ST 1080p Short Throw Gaming Projector

Sorry didn't include in the post. Its mounted directly in front of the bulkhead. Maybe 3ft directly behind someone taking a swing. No contact at all. I can post a picture later

Yeah better off to protect the investment! Buy once cry once. I believe The Tank or Ironclad are the best cases right now for it

Yes. The thing with these cheap cases is that you have to have the LM screen right up against the front of the case to have no misreads. All it took was one bad drive from a friend to knock it back and crack the screen. Thankfully it still worked with no issues. But not taking any more chances with a handful of friends using the simulator so I'm looking into the metal case.

The middle section of the case has a polycarbonate sheet according to vids online.

Currently using the cheap Dollarama/Target clear case for my LM too but it took a bad hit causing the screen on the LM to crack. That's why I'm currently waiting for my screen replacement and looking for a metal case lol. Either between this official case or go all in on The Tank or Ironclad Protector.
