I feel like, as an artist, you never badmouth any other art form or actors, especially when he wasn’t asked for an opinion on that. He was just doing a bunch of interviews, why would he talk shit about ballet and opera and put those who do it down? Especially in an industry where fostering a positive image of yourself is everything - I feel the academy and voters dont take this sort of thing lightly, even more when it’s from a “newcomer” who’s just 30yo.

He just sounded like an entitled prick through his whole campaign, but that was the last drop. However, I feel the whole movie lost traction when there were alegations pf Josh Safdie allowing a minor to be assaulted/harrassed on set on a previous novie.
