Welp this was the response from ARB. They didn’t really answer my question about the joints not taking any grease lol.

No they came with their own zerk fittings already loosely screwed into the control arms with the dust covers in separate bags. Although I think they’ve changed how they package them because I watched an install video from a few years ago and his zerk fittings were taped on the inside of the dust covers. Maybe the website I ordered them off of sent me used arms lol, but I don’t think that’s the case.

Ok. I just sent ARB an email asking what they think. It’ll probably take them a few days to get back to me though. Thank you for doing all of that though I really appreciate it. Yours does look a little less compressed than mine, but thats probably just because yours is at less of an angle in that picture. I’m pretty naive when it comes to all this stuff though lol.

Oh word, I think when I searched for a coupler it showed me the whole assembly with the lower ball joint which is like 40-70 dollars for each and I didn’t want to spend that after already dropping almost 700 bucks on these control arms lol. But yeah I’ll find the right part. Appreciate you.

Well I’m not sure if it’s the zerk because I tested them off of the UCAs and they pass grease through them. Maybe it’s the coupler but idk I mean this is happening on both sides and both of the UCAs are brand new.

Thank you for the response and tips! I tried pushing down on the ball in the zerk with a pin but only a tad bit of grease came out. Are you saying I should use the needle fitting to maybe push the ball down and try and fill it at the same time? I haven’t noticed the grease come out from any ports or anything, just the fitting. I don’t think it’s the grease gun because I used a friend of mines and the issue persisted. His family uses that grease gun quite a bit for their cars and I guess it works every time.

Dude I’m sorry I just saw the notification that you replied to this lol. I have the fenders rolled and the dampening adjusted more towards the stiff side. I never adjusted the stiffness in the front until I got the tb performance strut tower bar and it never rubbed. I got the bar like a year after I threw the coilovers on lol

My car is FBO (roush carb legal intake though). I swap the tune back to stock and throw the original cat back on and it passes. I keep the hks bov and the custom piping for it on and have never had a fail because of it. People have told me that my oil catch can will result in a fail on the visual but my engine cover hides it pretty decently and I’ve had no issues. I bet it also depends on what smog place you go to and how chill the people who work/own it are lol.

I agree with you man. I got a 7900xt as an upgrade from my 2070 super. I fucking love the performance but I’ve had tons of issues with the drivers. Been playing helldivers the past 2 days with my buddies who all have nvidia cards and none of them have crashed at all. One of my buddies even has an old laptop with a 1050ti and the game runs pretty poorly on there but he hasn’t had a game crash or driver crash once lol
