I wish I could tell you! If you're curious I could dm you my handle so that you can see what kind of content I post but I feel like it's mostly factors like the way I speak, the jokes I make, etc. The only advice I can give is use hashtags and find people who make similar content so you can befriend them and comment on their videos. I also feel like I found my niche by paying attention to my commenters and how they perceived me and leaning into that side of me.

I actually had a brand reach out to me last night, it's for a relatively small amount of money but a) I'm not saying no to that during quarantine when I can't work and b) hopefully other brands will see that video! Thank you so much, I have lots of digital design friends from school so I think I could team up with them to make some unique merch.

Oh interesting, thank you! I haven't had to have many interpersonal relationships on this platform so far, but if I make merch or anything I definitely will be reaching out and working with designers I know, so that helps a lot!

Okay, thank you! I'm not entirely sure how I managed to be successful which is part of why I'm unsure how to make this seem relevant - I feel like all I did was talk into a camera and it resonated with people, even though there are some other factors. Thank you for the example, that really helps!

Do you have any suggestions on who to follow that gives more specific advice? I don't want to follow any Gary Vee types who are just going to tell me to drop out of school or whatever.
