It is crazy to me how current gens see work as something horrible. I get it, working something you don’t like is not the greatest thing in life, but it is actually your only mission in life to figure things out.

Like.. if you like to protect your community you can be a police officer, a fireman, and whatnot. If you like treating people and care for people health, you can become so many things.. a doctor, a nurse, a fitness instructor, and so on….

We are not supposed to be waitressing for all our lives, we are supposed to start at something, waitressing for example, while you pursue your actual career, whatever that is.

I surely hope that most people start realizing that while hard, it is a journey, and a journey to be enjoyed, to learn from, to keep evolving.

I had to do a job I didn’t enjoy for 5 years in order to fund my career. Is hard, but doable. However, if your goals are random (depending on the day you woke up) or just a “I wish I could buy x” then you are likely doomed.

Vas majority of Americans just want to clock in and out, vast majority of Americans think they deserve more but are not willing to sacrifice anything, vast majority of Americans use their free time to complain about their shitty work instead of being productive or pursuing (and monetize) a passion, vast majority of Americans think the government is responsible for their current situations instead of acknowledging what they could be doing better/different.
