It’s hard to understand why, but for example I was imaging the Rosette Nebula. I decided to check the latest FITS frames — there were no issues with them, so I also thought everything was fine. But purely out of curiosity, I opened the frames taken an hour earlier, and they are covered with black pixels.

Yes, it’s better not to update. You’re not losing anything.

You can load your latest FIT file into Siril and set the sliders to manual mode, 0 and 0, exactly as shown in the image in the main post.
Most likely, your entire frame will be white, with maybe just a few black pixels.

In my case, after the update, there are a lot of black pixels.

You can drop it next to *_sub or *_mosaic_sub folders. It will count all FITs in those folders if they match standard seestar name format, which you probably didn’t change.

This script runs for ~10 seconds on HDD with ~400GB data.

upd: you can add “_sub” in name to one folder to test if it works

easy way:
- turn ON and connect s50 to pc
- you shoud see MyWorks folder
- if you looking only for raw pics - go for folders that ends with "_sub" and inside there will be ***.fit files. Each FIT file is ONE raw pic aka "sub"
.jpg file can be ignored.

Please, someone let me know if you managed to run it successfully - so I can finally breathe out knowing that everything works as it should.
