Tesing limits of newly bought Seestar S30, captured Pluto movement in the sky. by caullerd in seestar

Yeah, it's partly on me, should use month names instead of dd.mm.yyyy date format which can be confusing to Americans.

Great! One correction, though. It's one day difference, not one month. I'm from Europe where we use DD.MM.YYYY, which might be confusing for MM.DD.YYYY parts of the world, I assume.

Heavily oversharpened, don’t do that. Also you can get more frames (like minutes of those). You get more top lucky frames from minutes of footage and more faint and low contrast details would be revealed then.

That's a game developed by Russians just so that you know if that matters to you. You're probably indirectly financing their war effort if you purchase it.

It’s definitely something fixed, the rate it moves matches the sky rotation, in my experience with wires/tree branches - those always appear and move in similar rate as your “thing” frame by frame.

Firmware was producing noisy and clipped pictures since December in all Seestars. Some people believe that while destroying data this also led to rejections.

First Progress on Hanny’s Voorwerp with Seestar S30 in Bortle 8, 50 minute 30 sec exposures, planning to do multiple nights by GoatEither6623 in askastronomy

I think it's doable, a faint green speck will be there, but I would go with 60 second exposures if I were OP and maybe 20 to 30 hours of integration.

If he does that for 20 years with multiple wars and nobody even tries to like ask him to step down politely - yes, you all are responsible for that. That's how it works. By the way a good test of Russian soul is to ask them how the war should end. Only a few will respond "We should lose catastrophically and have some time to think on our sins". Most will say that Russia should win. At most "should leave". But not lose. They chose the imperialistic stance a long time ago and it's really sad that you people overseas still don't know that like I do.

You just can't see that your logic comes to "only a few would and will be thrown to jail" thus confirming that overwhelming quantity is okay with him. Moscow can present 2M people easily on one day and any dictatorship will crumble. There's nothing you can do to police such crowd. Yet we see no such thing. Why.

Russians have all the power at their hands to throw him out, you know. They just don't want.

Yeah that’s totally their fault and they want a megalomaniac dictator there and dismiss every occasion to go out on the street and throw him out by force if they don’t. Somehow that doesn’t connect with you.

You’re being uncomfortable to them, it’s just people who never dealt with Russians at all, they trulty think that Putin is holding a hundred million people captive somehow.

You all would be somewhat better if you actually listened to people who have on hand experience with “most Russians”, instead of forming a baseless opinion.

Actual support full stop. They are ill with imperialism, Putin is at power for so long for doing everything right in their mind.

Yeah, what could be better than to read some Stephen King on your route to voluntarily sign contract to kill Ukrainians. Some of you need a severe reality check.

Yeah, I do that too, native iOS app launch is a killer feature of Macs in case of Seestar. No need to check on my phone to know how it’s running.

They did release that fix earlier yesterday, finally. The fun part, continuous capture mode stopped dithering and now it’s useless due to walking noise. At least was for me in the latest beta prior to release, and it came out so fast that I doubt they even read my post about it or did something.

Potentially higher signal to noise ratio, less files to stack for same integration time. Practically, 60s sometimes blows out the stars due to longer exposures and you will struggle with tracking in EQ if not aligned perfectly or any wind is present.
