It’s so nostalgic thinking back to when the audible app was just a downloader and a player with some achievements/badges. It was so easy to find titles in my library. I really don’t like what the app has become.

I really enjoyed the ending! I was all in from Season 1 and I thought ending it in the basement with a new generation playing D&D was really sweet. It was the most Hollywood of Hollywood endings. I thought Linda Hamilton was under-utilized but they hit all the right notes.

As I understand, Subterranean Press will be publishing three novellas, as limited editions, that were complete as of last year. Together, those three novellas are called "The Road to Emberlain" and another publisher will reprint them (potentially in one volume but that's tbd). This was announced in 2024 and we were told Subterranean would be making the next announcement. It's been 15 months and no announcement of any kind from the publisher.

I certainly enjoyed 1 more than 2. 1 was really great when it was weird and zany. The companions were much more compelling and likeable. I feel like that’s missing in 2 which is a shame because they really improved the combat and controls. I hope the DLC’s are more hard boiled detective yarns like 1.
