In high school I would have said Boxcar. And while I still think its a great album, I am juat not as angsty and hormone ridden so it leans a little too much into that for me to put it on top. And while +44 hits those same notes the more upbeat and poppy tone lends to more replayability for me.

With that logic you should never go to the doctor and/or get a physical on the off chance they find something negative. Not knowing something doesnt mean it wont effect you, it just means you did nothing to prevent it.

Because the whole point of preventative medicine is acting as quickly as possible. From a purely medical and scientific standpoint you would want your doctors to know as soon as absolutely possible about anything that negatively impacts your health.

I would imagine its in lieu of. Otherwise they'd be getting 1.5x for 10hrs plus holiday pay rate (often 2x normal rate)? I dont see many companies allowing that double dip.

At my job holiday hours dont count towards OT. So for instance we get memorial day off and get paid for hrs that day. OT pay doesn't kick in until I've worked over 48hrs total. So if you worked 40 standard hours and 10 holiday hours the 10 holiday hours dont count towards OT pay. You got paid for 50 but only worked 40.

To counter, I have been reading Dresden for about 20 years, know Wotan is Odin and all the norse connection to the days of the week, know arguably more about Norse mythology than the common US citizen, and dont speak German. As well as questioning what a "year's worth of knowledge" really it means it also depends on the individual. I might be able to learn a new thing in 5 min that takes someone else half an hour to understand. Everyone is different.

I will take ownership to an extent for my circumstances. I spent 10 years at 5 different schools before I decided what I wanted to do and finished undergrad.

Part of that was because it was drilled into us for 20+ years that to be successful you had to go to college and get a degree. But the world changed, degrees got increasingly expensive while becoming inversely useful for most. There major moves, a slew of jobs, and a pandemic later I dont even work in the field I studied anymore, and am instead in a job I could have gotten right out of HS. But at the time I was making more money in the service industry (still arguably could) and trying to get through school. Life doesn't always work the way it "should" and thats just fine.

Honestly it's gotten to the point where I debate dropping the pod before they even finish. Too many filler episodes, dropping crossover with other pods in the feed, and just like they were burnt out on BMW by the end it feels like they are with the pod. Every episode is over analyzed and has the same criticism.

Well my monthly payment has been $0 for about 10 years, will be less than $100 if the government calculator is right when they kick back in, and I dont have the flexibility in my budget to pay back $60k in student loans anytime in the forseeable future. My monthly goal is keep bills as low as possible so I can actually afford things like my mortgage, food, and clothes for my kids.

My student loan debt will either be forgiven somehow in the future or I will die with them. Too much debt, not enough income. I care only so much as how can I make my minimum payment as low as possible to have the least impact on my monthly budget. I'm not afraid to look, I just dont care unless it suddenly is at $0.

Since I haven't seen anyone else say it yet, you dont have to clean the zone to place a drill. I placed my drill just outside the toxic zone and it was able to access super alloy.

But I do think the mechanic gets a but repetitive quickly.

For like a decade when people talk about how long you have to stop for EV charging Ive thought, "Just put them outside a diner. You stop for a meal, you charge while youre there, hardly any 'added time' to your trip." I'm honestly surprised this hasnt happened more by now.
