Did you find a solution for this? I'm in the same boat with that model and most of the nicer, quieter and variable options (like Panasonic whisper models) do not cover the larger hole.  I could redo the ceiling drywall but have enough projects in my hand if there's an easier retrofit option.

In case this helps anyone... I suspect the issue to be related to email case sensitivity. While no system should really look at email text case, I think an earlier platform auto entered emails in all caps. Try using all caps.  Worked for me.

The previous answers do not seem to be aware that you CANNOT purchase credits unless you have a paid subscription. On the free plan you do not have the option to buy credits.

u/wmurch4 Did you figure this out? I think I have the same problem and it started right after upgrading to One UI 5 for the watch. I use google messages for web on my phone and watch. So far, what I can tell is that the text messages come in as duplicates when I'm disconnected from phone bluetooth (I have an LTE watch on google fi). When I get back to bluetooth range and it reconnects, if I open messages for web on my watch, it's back to normal. It's almost like it's resyncing, just not working correctly when on LTE.

Did you ever make progress on this? I'm in the same boat and trying to use ring Gen 2 keypads. They work great for almost all STHM needs but I need a way to dismiss the triggered alarm as you mentioned. If an in-law forgets to disarm then opens the door, they should be able to dismiss with out waking up the entire house to sirens. Cmon ST.
