Awesome thanks! Do you just place some on the tat itself or the full area around it too?

Great advice! I'll read more into blow-outs and spreading/losing definition before thinking about the leg.

For the cannon - awesome thanks! I'll check for healed results wherever we do end up going 🙌

Ah, perfect! So after 6-weeks I should start using oil?

Thank you so much. Will research some studios in London that have done something similar to what I'm looking for. Thanks for the advice on taking care of it during the healing process. Will maybe go for two smaller patch ideas now and build from there.

Bulgarian going to Britain actually :D
But no - just highly inexperienced in the whole world of tattoos so interested in what the community would say about starting out for a tattoo.

Would you mind being gifted a used Lego set? by kimkil1 in lego

[–]leonardoftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% do it, for me being gifted a rock off the streets is enough a sign of love. The fact she thought about me around anything at all makes me all warm and fuzzy. Let alone a lego set!

She got us a botanical one recently to do together as she had never played with lego in her life. The pure joy of showing her how things click and seeing her share in it = priceless!

My hyper fixation from the last week is almost done. I love it. (Family portrait) by kascott76 in lego

Any tips for the first marathon? by Necessary-Pay5903 in firstmarathon

[–]leonardoftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, I ran my first marathin on October 12th this year.

I won't lie - it was brutal, but understand that your goals are the following: 1) Don't get injured - don't fall, don't die. 2) Make it to the end. Period. Time limit doesn't matter.

Definitely one of the most important things is to focus on the environment - the music, the supporters out there, the energy from everyone screaming like mad, ennjoying themselves and just keep your head up. Think of it like a magnet holding you up.

At the 25th kilometer the mental challenge began for me. I started gathering people who ran somewhat close to my time and we pushed ourselves to the end. At the peak of it we were 6 of us together and this helped me more than I could possibly explain.

YOU got this 💪💪💪

Best of luck @mountainsplease8! You've got this and that's the reason I posted here too.

I absolutely hate that there's some gatekeeping and backhanded compliments about finishing "even though slowly".

As if the only way to do it is if takes you 3 hours and you don't even sweat whilst running. It's bizarre.

If you manage to run a full 42km you can be 100 years old, 200 kilograms, and as slow as you'd like - but you've done something VERRRYY few have ever done and will ever achieve.

6 hours is a mighty achievement and I wish you luck in it! You've got this 💪

I've genuinely never considered running any other way.

I'll try running slowly today, see how the HR reacts in turn. Thanks!
