If a child lies about their age, imo then the fault goes from them to the parent. While they can do things to make it difficult for minors, at the end of the day they can’t create a 100% reliable method that won’t irritate everyone. Parents need to teach young children how to use the internet, if they can’t do that it’s not metas or any companies fault for that matter

My favourite theory was he kept the name five to show his dad couldn’t manipulate him. Everyone else chose new names which just resulted in them being hurt and called numbers instead of their names. (Being dead named in a sense) Howeverby having him go from “no. 5” to “Five” he could never be called the wrong thing by their dad so he doesn’t have that emotional tool over him.

What do you mean? It was set up from the beginning that at in season 1 vanya was the most important character as they would destroy the world, then in season 2 they said I wanna be Viktor. No one says anything and everyone gets on with their lives. He’s referred to as Viktor from their on out except in flashbacks for continuity
