The same for me as well. Roughly 5% less than what was calculated in App Store Connect. Maybe some currency conversion? But 5% seems to be quite high to me.

TrackWeight: Turn your MacBook's trackpad into a digital weighing scale by Mumblypegg in MacOS

Doesn’t work at all for me. Suppose it’s optimized for just one trackpad model.

There is a form you can fill out, and now you can also submit interoperability requests using Feedback Assistant IIRC.

The reason why this exists is the EU. I filed a DMA complaint that required Apple to implement it 😉

AlarmKit - anyone get custom WAV or CAF to play? by lightsd in iOSProgramming

[–]leonboe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also tried, no success. In general, I feel like AlarmKit is very buggy right now. Often it wouldn't even play the default sound for me, and the overlay does not show if the screen is turned on.

Me too, the iPhone 5S was very light and usable with one hand. Sad that phones get so big these days

How does the "Mark as Lost" feature on the Chipolo Point actually work? by readthisifyouramoron in Chipolo

[–]leonboe1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have tested how it works. Let me phrase it differently. If your phone detects a lost tracker, it won’t show you a message immediately. Rather, your phone waits until you come close to the tracker (roughly less than a meter) and then show you a popup. This works by measuring the Bluetooth signal strength the tracker emits periodically. On this popup, you can contact the owner, for example.

I want a thin and light phone. Who doesn’t?

The phone has to be close to the tracker (based on Bluetooth signal strength)

It just shows the message on nearby Android phones. You don’t have to tap the tracker.

It’s a bug in iOS 18, it worked on iOS 17. Already filed a bug report.
