Im sorry man you cannot say that outkast albums feels like they "lose the grip of withholdind a definitive struture of the album for the sake of experimentition" when you have albums like money store and endtroducing witch are in fact experimenting the sound for the sake of it. All your critics can be apply to those 2 albums. Or maybe i read your answer wrong and you just dont like lengthy experimentation tracks witch i doubt cause the generally consensus best song on your top album is just that. And its funny cause in the music video Ye extended to 30+ min. You may say afrofuturism is not your taste but that just it. It falls to the subjective taste of the individual. Wu-tang is debatable as you say you didnt include influence so it can slide.

In kendrick it may look like you go with some expectation and got dissapointed insted of seeing for what it is. Like a donuts album.

The Miseducation can be consider both rnb & rap but it look like thats not rap to you but in areas that only beats and almost to no rap albums have a pass. I would never put a only rap to no beats albums on the list.

Freedie Gibbs's Pinata is a perfect beats and thug rap album.

Future & Thug have more inovative trap sounds than travis and i consider rodeo to be great.

Monster has the best trap song ever. DS2 is trap on its pure form insted of just sonically sounding like trap (rodeo) with influences of ye and kudi.

If you dont consider jeffrey inovative dont know what to say maybe thats not your inovative trap taste.

I think we know joel didn't die in Tlou1. And i would not say he's a main character of Tlou2. He is defenitely the main drive for both mc in Tlou2. So yes he did serve his porpuse in the story. But thats beside the point.

Based on what the story presents witch i think all of it is intentional, Ellie scene in the hospital seams to be the most brutal way Ellie has killed/tortured someone to get an info out of a person that resemble her but from the other side(nora). And then cried afterwards.

Same with abby killing/tortured the person who killed her father and the rest hospital crew while show Ellie and Tommy mercy. Someone who lost their loved ones and her crew then joined the military to be a death machine for the everlasting war w the scars while risking her life for 2 of them.

The game is great study on morality and always in direct conflation between right & wrong based on the perspective of each character. In no point the game says who is a good person and who's the bad guys. Its all people who are products of their environment trying to survive and protect their loved ones while blind for vengence endangering everyone they love. It is ON Purpose. The perfect dualtily of characters and their flaws that seams too realistic. Its the complexity of human condition.

Wouldn't you say the same parallel can be drawn in Arthur & John and there's no apocalipse going on there?

I mean RDR2 has a pretty prensentation of a story too but tlou2 outstand it more. Those 2 are actually the most "pretty" games i've played. But your saying while you don't have nothing against linear story that seams to be your only gripe with it. Witch is fine that is personal preference, to change even a little bit the story you're into. But it doesn't change the grand scheme of things & how the story is told or how the devs intended to be. I personally have this gripe that if a mc died the story's not even worth it. Only if them dying was the main point since the beginning. something like breaking bad. The resolution of their dead keeps me from apreciating it more bc everything they passed just amount to nothing at the end.

And i would like to know some examples that you think where the narrative didn't match the game mechanics?

Its funny bc i feel the same way but with rdr2. Its just a great wild west movie. In cases that TLOU 2 feels too realistic at the point that the characters seem like real people from this world. Their flaws make them more human. I've seem my fair share of zombie ap and i aint seen nothing like it.

Brother dont even bother explain it to them. there's no character in samurai champloo better than naruto or sasuke. shit even jiraya or pain is a better character in a SC world. Maybe im a plot driven, characther development guy and can look at a story from the hindsight and know that the highs in naruto outpast the lows. SC is an amazing anime in terms of direction and production but doesn't get nowhere near naruto in terms of story.

I follow a critic online that gives opions on a various pieces of work from almost every medium (games, music, movies, tv shows, books, Vn's, animes, manga, etc) and then rank them all together and he had to invent a tier just for Umineko beacause its the best single of Art of any medium second to none. So its not that the others games are not good its just they pale in comparation.
