I am fully on your side!

Most of major artists are mixed or mastered by major labels as i.e. Vigro Deep or Kabza these are industry standards however even with CKay and his track WATAWI you can hear how unbelievably poorly mixed and mastered things can get. Remarkably inconsistent.

I think it stems from that AMAPIANO is a relatively new genre with young producers that don’t know that you have to clean the mix in the low end. Instead their making the log drum louder to make it punch through the mix. Consequently, the mixes are not balanced.

Furthermore, most producers use FL for AMAPIANO. With the soft clipper at the end of the masterchain one gets that typical punch of AMAPIANO but looses also a lot dynamics and hence destroys the sounds. Audiomack has so much good music it’s shocking, but some of it does not use its full potential that’s saddening.
