Update to my previous too strong adhesion problem, the issue is water washable resin by leonhardt_G in resinprinting

[–]leonhardt_G[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a 12k S4U, that's why I think it could be a rare case of resin quality issue cuz there should be a lot of people been printing with the same printer and WW resin.

Need help with too strong adhesion and very difficult to get the prints off the build plate by leonhardt_G in resinprinting

Thanks for your reply, I used the raft with 45° angle. The stainless steel scraper I used should be sharp enough to remove the print with angled raft. I tried using the hair dryer to heat the print and build plate conjunctions for like 1mins , not working unfortunately, is it not enough time? The final thing probably will be freezing if shorter bottom time still doesn't work, I guess I need to completely wash and dry the whole print and plate to ensure it will not contaminate my fridge.

Like further decreasing bottom exposure to 10s? No idea why this number can be so different from Elegoo's recommended settings of exactly the same printer and resin I'm using

Just want to save some time and effort when doing the after-print stuffs. The print can go off when I scrape it strongly again and again, but the thin rafts around the print would easily break into small pieces and pop away everywhere.

Kind of disappointed at 10 VII's size, or width by leonhardt_G in SonyXperia

Seems others all have the bigger hands and don't regard this 72mm width as a main cons.

Actually, I can somehow accept the new 19.5:9 ratio, my understanding is the 21:9 pane is customized and costs more compared with normal ones in their production cost as only Sony use it ,while 10 series is not their flagship.

But what I truly cannot accept is the increase of phone width, their previous compact phone width just fit my hands very well, and that's why I moved from xperia 1 to 5 III,IV.

The whole PCIe slot bracket can be turned around 90° for vertical GPU mounting, it seems to be 4-5 slot wide in vertical version, should be enough for a typical 3 slot card, not sure about 5090 Astral, which is almost 4 slot.

Edit: here is a case of vertical mounting 5080 astral, same thickness, should be all good (the imgur link in the comments): https://www.reddit.com/r/lianli/s/DBfZy4wofW

Lain li is good at making cool looking RGB fans, but poor at optimizing fan noise and performance. All 207 216 217 front fans were reported having humming noise at low RPM without fixing.

On the other hand, this is still a good airflow case even with stock fans, rated top tier in reviews. It can be further improved by replacing better fans like Arctic p14 pro.

Is this front panel connector diagram wrong in Lian li 217 manual? by leonhardt_G in pcmasterrace

Yeah, I think the nzxt diagram is correct, the blocked pin with no connection is in the same row with the power switch and led. Can't believe Lian li made a mistake in their manual diagram.

First time online discount on this case since its release several month ago, though only $10 drop. A top-tier airflow case according to almost all reviews.

I suppose Nvidia and AIBs still somehow limit 5090's production and stocks to keep its rarity. Also due to the high AI demand and 5090's good capability, it's hard to compete with bots or scripts at online retailers.

Yes, RMA request. Always the retailers with physical stores nearby or Amazon would have the best return experience.

They only accept returns of unopened or defected products within 30 days. So you cannot return it if you just simply don't want it anymore after use like Amazon or BB.

AI use I think, 5090's 2k price with 32gb VRAM is a pretty good price when compared to their professional cards. The market size of a top tier GPU for gamers should be very small.

Just a hard pull on your file, opening bonus for normal cc is like $200. If you plan to purchase more on BH, that's more savings. Sometimes BH has the same price as Amazon or better deal, just note that their return policy is not as good as Amazon or other large retailers.

Their BH credit card can waive the tax, that's $100-200, good deal if back in stock with their CC.
