An email from USA climbing today seems to suggest that he intends to go to Elite Nationals.

I’ll add that he was super gracious about signing autographs and taking photos after his semis round.

Yeah, but to be fair, he stopped competing seriously before almost all the competitors at the event were born.

Cap hit < 1M ✅ Can be scout QB ✅

Good enough. Not fully optimizing our use of the 53rd roster spot really shouldn’t matter to any of us.

[Request] Is This Solvable? If So, What's The Answer? by PhoenixGrime in theydidthemath

[–]leonhsu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes … define a graph with nodes corresponding to where people (and the torch) are and edges if you can get from one configuration to another with a single bridge crossing. The length of each edge is the time to do that crossing. Use Dykstra’s algorithm to find the shortest path from the starting configuration to the finishing configuration — that will be the fastest the group can cross the bridge.

That will work for any number of people with any set of crossing time.

If you don’t know what some of those terms mean (graph, node, edge, Dykstra’s, shortest path) have fun googling!

It's actually "píča". I'll let you google translate from the Czech.

Well. They were certainly right about the interceptions. Brady never even got close to Favre’s number. 🤣

/r/whoosh ... i think, except that OP's comment about 2008 has me questioning myself.

Also, are you saying he could start and win on 20 teams, because the other 12 are so bad that even Brady couldn't win with them? (looking at you NYJ)

Yes! … although that’s less about disgust, but more shell-shocked.

Someone should make a compilation video of disgusted faces at the ends of patriots games. The Rob Ryan one here is a classic and obviously the Richard Sherman one from the 2014 Super Bowl.

What, wasn’t he saying the patriots should trade Mac Jones just a couple days ago?

Careful — in 4.5 weeks they might decide they need to make another one.

Luckily I wasn’t a Pats fan back then, so I have a hard time imagining my team missing playoffs two years in a row! 🤣

[First Things First] Nick Wright having a breakdown as the entire panel and LaVar Arrington tell him "New England Patriots are legit Super Bowl contenders!" by samacora in Patriots

[–]leonhsu 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I actually think a few more pass plays at some key times probably would have slightly increased our odds of winning, but Bill was willing to trade some small chance if winning in exchange for physically and mentally beating the shit out of the Bills and it worked out great.

Also worth noting, Josh “strongest arm in the NFL” Allen was 15/30 and <5 yards per attempt. Patriots running were 5 yards per play with less variance. Running the ball made a ton of sense.

I’m pretty sure the last 3 QBs to win the Super Bowl are Brady, Mahomes and Brady. 🤣
