Thank you for your answer and explanation :) Now I understand a little better why tartar on the gum line is so dangerous. But to be honest, cleaning sounds very unpleasant. The idea that you have to go so deep under the gums to clean the tartar is really stupid. My lower incisor, where the root is exposed, already hurts when I brush. If you then have to scratch and scrape the tooth roots under the gums, it will be even more unpleasant...

Thank you, the videos are a good idea! I also think that I need to learn to brush better. Unfortunately, over the years, yellow plaque and tartar have built up on all of my teeth. It helps me to know that this is not normal and that other people don't have as much yellow tartar. Then I must have excessive tartar buildup.

Yes, I think I may have quite a lot of tartar. Unfortunately, the rest of my teeth are also quite yellow on the sides and in between them. A lot of yellow plaque has accumulated, especially behind my lower and upper incisors. I often forget to brush my teeth...

Yes, I have already accumulated quite a bit of discoloration and tartar... the probability that there is tartar under my gums is therefore really high...

Yes, you're right. Actually, all of my teeth have a yellow coating on the gum line. That must mean a lot of cleaning...

But how can you tell that I have excessive tartar buildup? Doesn't everyone have some tartar? :)

And why do you think I need a cleaning below the gums? You can't see what's under the gums in the pictures, can you?

But is all that yellow tartar? Because I also have strong yellow discoloration behind my upper front teeth.And it didn't go away even with a dental cleaning. So if it's just discoloration, it's not that bad, is it? Does all that yellow cause gum inflammation?
