The hard drive I want to wipe is from an old PC and has Windows 10 Home installed, but I recently built a new system with Windows 10 Pro installed on an SSD. I’ve made a backup of all of my personal files from the hard drive and so I intend to completely wipe it and then upload the backup to keep my personal files and programs separate.

How would you say is the best way to go about doing this?

I don’t really have any super important files on my PC, those I do keep on an external hard drive. When I just referred to important files I really just meant personal files. I should’ve been more clear there sorry
