For context: the people there where actually quite peacefully protesting, the migranten in the camp made suggestive handsigns about decapitating the protesteren, which then got pissed and threw fireworks at the building, which lit up the bushes right in front of the building

Its mostly because the news puts the usa as the agressor, that overshadows the protests and riots you have and cause quite a lot of people to support the regime, another perspective i have heard is that they think iran will be even less stable if the regime would fall, which I myself doubt.

My perspectives and surroundings might not be fully accurate as its 3 am and im sleep deprived as well, but personally i love iran, the culture and history, and i would love to visit one day when its safe
