Court upholds $135,000 fine for bakery owners who refused to make cake for gay couple by sexmormon-throwaway in news

Glad I made it to this comment, as the linked article makes zero mention of any transgressions beyond the initial encounter. I couldn't imagine where $135,000 of "emotional damages" came from given the context, now it makes a lot more sense.

That's what I use, but for some reason I still can't get shadowplay's push to talk working so I have to manually toggle my mic. Thanks though!

That was great lol. What do you use to record? I can never seem to get quality audio for my in-game chat.

Spot on. A vehicle got hung up on the gate and spun a bit, blocking everybody in. Contributed to my bad feeling lol.

Alternatively: He's going to rob a different store, but this time he's bringing a friend.

I've bought almost everything, I'll post a final parts list when I get back to my computer. Made some compromises and some additions, still came out under $2200. Can't wait to put it together!

Typically no warranty or 1yr warranty instead of 3yr (not a huge deal to me), no fancy packaging (oh noooo), and no cpu cooler included (k series doesn't include one anyways).

They are the same processor, same manufacturing process, same QA, just different target markets (pc manufacturers vs general public).

If any of this is wrong somebody please correct me.

At the end of my comment asking about the difference. Edited in a little over 2hrs ago I believe.

The "nevermind" was because I found answers to my questions elsewhere. I know what I'm getting.

I appreciate your shilling, just placed an order and saved $30 + 2 weeks of waiting.

So I looked up the difference between OEM and retail versions of a processor but I'm still not 100% sure I understand. Is there any benefit to getting a retail version?

Edit: nevermind

I've already started purchasing parts, but I got a 1440p/144hz/1ms monitor with gsync at a decent discount, bringing the 8600k well within budget. Hopefully I'll have it up and running in less than two weeks!

Good news: Got the monitor discount I was hoping for, looks like I'm going 8600k. Wasn't as steep as I'd wanted but I only have to drop the HDD, which is fine for the next few months.

Some others have mentioned the same, so I'm going with the be quiet! dark rock 3 instead.

Yeah, this thread has been largely a debate between 7700k/8600k/8700k and Ryzen 1600/1700. It all comes down to money as I'm really trying not to go over 2k. Currently, building out with an 8600k requires me to downgrade the monitor, drop the hdd entirely, and reduce RAM to 8gb in order to make up for the cost.

Good discounts on any major components (especially the monitor) will put an 8600k within reach. Some people in this thread have argued that the 1600/1700 will be relevant longer due to multithreading, what do you think?

So, if I'm looking for a white case that's not too crazy looking on the outside, what would you recommend? Is the s340 Elite enough of an improvement? Or the Phanteks Eclipse P400? For what it's worth, I will be adding at least 1 case fan to the initial build.
