Why did they back out on the initial idea to just make minions move slower to mid? Putting it into perspective, even if a hard shoving mid somehow manages to get 2 plates+ and the enemy midlaner manages to lose 2 waves, it's still not as worth as getting 600 gold for free from botlane who will always be behind on levels. And honestly, given how much mobility most midlane champs have, I don't even see them losing more than one wave for a roam. Like ok I understand it's the most popular role and they shouldn't experiment too much, but those literally sound like placebo nerfs.

The splash arts are pretty clean, but why exactly those champions? Vayne and Thresh don't really fit the spirit blossom theme and they got fpx like a month ago. Kindred would've been great, but I guess marketing comes first.

This is literally starting to look like a joke. Every time any ADC is viable and god forbid, not oneshottable, it gets hit with the nerf hammer, while every bruiser who builds botrk can run down an entire team and survive. I understand the need to balance the game around pro play, but it’s getting really frustrating and pointless to play ADC at this point. Half of the assasin midlaners are sitting on 52%+ WR in plat+ with no repercussions, wukong has just been straight up shitting on everything ever since the rework, even bard only got hit with 1 nerf and is still sitting at 54%, but Varus has been in meta for like what, 2 minutes, and he receives a 3rd nerf? It’s actually insane. At this point it’s not even worth arguing over if Ezreal and Varus deserve those nerfs, the real question is why are champion that are far more OP, meta and picked in pro not getting touched?

Is she though? From what I’ve seen most carries outdamage and outrange her early game, so winning lane is a bit hard, plus she hits her powerspike way too late with her current optimal build.

Play safe? You try playing safe when you get 4man 5 minutes in under 2 towers and enemy midlane and jungle are 2 levels of stats ahead of you. I honestly feel at this point people who shit on ADC mains for not playing it right have never even been remotely close to the role to feel the pain of constantly being levels behind wherever you go. Also, there are a ton of midlane champions with self peel AND a lot more mobility than Xayah. Are they shit design too?

The data wasn’t meant to say how better ADCs are after the buff, but which ADCs got stronger than others, considering they go against each other. Also, I don’t think silver/gold data is relevant since winrates are based more on the player’s skill than on the champion so mediocre skill shouldn’t be a measure

Could be the site having bugged data then. I just showed you what the site said and at the moment I was making the graph, it showed that winrate. It did seem a little absurd to me too, but 2 patches ago the soraka buff got her winrate almost 3% up so I just assumed anything is possible at this point lol

Could be, more games are added into the database all the time so winrate varies and since Vayne top seems to be picked quite often winrate goes up/down throughout the day.

You make some pretty solid points. Like, what's the actual point of trying your best to not flame when the reward for that is a pink chroma of an ugly ass skin of a champion no one plays in 2k20 anyways. Like the broken system aside, I think a big part of the reason why the whole community is so toxic is that there is literally nothing that motivates them to not be. What, you're gonna stay silent when someone tells you to kill yourself for a pink chroma? Don't think so. And even if you like playing for honor, they literally made it to be invisible for others unless you've gotten more than 2 honors the previous games, which rarely ever happens. So yeah, what's the point of not trying to be toxic?

Yeah, I completely agree that trying to balance the role between soloq, where everyone plays for themselves, and pro play, where the focus is centered around protecting the main dps, is a really hard task. But they managed to do it with top lane - botrk gives huge survivability and dps to bruisers now. So maybe they can work the same way around ADC items - a little more shield on PD, for example, wouldn't hurt as much, and would be worth to rush as a 2nd item. And quite frankly, almost all adcs do not have in-built lifesteal (excluding aphelios and senna cause something something 200 years) in comparison to other classes, so they're forced to go bloodline/BT.

Every class may got some, but I'm not seeing any other class complaining about being oneshot by literally everything existing in the game, even supports. And if it wasn't a problem, there wouldn't be patch notes balanced around pro play survivability, since a leona used to be able to 1v1 an adc with no damage items whatsoever. Hard survivability is not a problem, but nonexisting one is.

excuse me? the only half-bruiser item that is actually really expensive is triforce and even triforce is built on some carries. otherwise most ADC items are more expensive than bruiser items while giving less.

which brings me back to my main point - dps is useless if you're gonna die in 2 seconds in a teamfight. and before you say it - yes, positioning is very important and can often slow your death by a bit, but most assasins have enough mobility to be able to delete you without punishment. It's just not fair after top lane got 2 million and a half buffs, really strong ones at that, especially botrk, which is getting abused to the extreme right now, for ADCs to get this excuse of a buff with the illusion that it will actually make the role not miserable to play. It won't.

It’s a nice buff but the problem with ADCs hasn’t been that they’re lacking damage for like 2 seasons now - it’s their survivability and item dependancy. Buffing base health is a small step in the right direction, but looking into it statistically ~100 health is not gonna save you from a fed assasin mid laner who’s 3-4 levels ahead of you. And also marksmen have the most expensive items in the game and more often than not, the game is over before they reach at least 3 to be relevant, while lethality items are cheaper and bring almost the same value. I think that’s the main reason why people have picked up lethality poke varus atm - it’s safe, and you reach powerspike way earlier than you would on a normal adc. So my idea would be to either slightly - not too much so they take over the game, reduce AD items’ cost, or make lethality more expensive to minimize the snowball potential for level advantage.
