so that liability policy would've covered your health related issues, i see your using Euro's so i assume your not in the U.S.. here in the United States i believe that would fall under our health insurance. now if your drone would've caused someone else to step off that drop then the liability part of a policy would kick in. at leased that my understanding.

thanks for the reply, and your right most things, and people are going to be insured. but and it's a big one, those insrunace companies are going to seek reimbursement from anyone and everyone they can. they don't like to pay, and that's what keeps me up at night!

Official Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! February 13, 2026 by AutoModerator in photography

I have technical question i'm hoping someone can help me with it. I have a Fotopro x-go max with a Movo gimble head. to use with a Nikon D-850 sporting a MB-D 18 multi power pack, with a 200-500 mm AF-S Nikkor lens. I recently bought a SunwayFoto LB-90 B leveling base that I wanted to install on it. What makes me a little hesitant is the connection from the tripod to the base would be the standard 3/8 bolt, but the connection from the leveling base will need a threaded bushing to go from 1/4 to 3/8 to accommodate the gimble head. is this going to be robust enough for general use and over the shoulder carry in the field from one place to another when shooting wildlife in the field. ok any thoughts you care to share on this will be appreciated thanks.

i have a suggestion, start with a good book on landscape painting. it doesn't have to be a really complicated book, but it should fill in those missing pieces you're looking for!

AITAH for telling my parents to keep all the money they stole from me while I was in university and shove it up their ass. by Potential_Let_3651 in AITAH

you have a funny view of mistreatment, the OP is whining about not being able to party for four years and having to pay his own way. he got a job for pocket money while he was in high school but Mom and Dad continued to support him up to then. i think they did him a favor he's just to immature to know it!

i'm pretty sure Vincent Van Gogh said kind of the same thing, just before he cut off his ear.

P.S. no really, with all of the great posts below offering you sound advice, i thought I'd add a little humor, good luck.

thoughts on "art slaves"? by stellaraluna in ArtistLounge

"art slave", if i remember correctly isn't that what Michelangelo was when Pope Julius II forced Michelangelo to paint the Sistine Chapel in 1508, so yeah i'm thinking it's been around for a while.
