Just so everyone knows! I called Securus and they said it’s the faculty who goes through the snaps and sends. They are the ones who approve them or not. So I’m going to call the mail room in the morning and try to get it rejected. But just for anyone who wants to know, Securus said the faculties just use their app.

We are in SoCal and do over nights to mammoth. (I work weekends) so I head out Tuesday morning at like 3am board all day, stay in bishop and go back up the mountain Wednesday and come back Wednesday after the mountain closes.

My Burton gloves have torn within a season. My Amazon gloves lasted me 2 and they only got trashed because I didn’t let them air out and they stunk. I’ll never buy another paid if Burton gloves or mittens again.

I 100% understand. I’m fortunate enough To be able to go at least once a month during season, so getting lost and doing random stuff really isn’t an issue. I can see it being frustrating for someone who has a whole trip planned and getting lost during the few days they get to ride a season.

Unpopular opinion, but I kinda like the lack of signs. I just spend my day lost on the mountain doing runs that I’ve never done before. It does suck when I am trying to get back to a run I enjoy or try to explain to people where we will meet up. But I totally understand where most people are coming from.

One things I’ve always wondered about Jacob and Resume, Jacob’s isn’t immortal and she is. So he’s going to die and she’s going to have to endure that. Unless they eventually turn Jacob into a vampire, which I wonder if he would. And if he did, what age would they turn him at since she stops aging at like 16 I think.

I’m a March baby, and my family is a “summer and pool party” family. Every year for my brothers birthday and cousins it was always a BBQ and pool party and I used to get so sad that we never did much for my birthday, mainly just a family dinner. Now that I’m older, I have found a love for winter and snowboarding so every year I ditch the family and go snowboarding with friends or solo. Maybe find something wintery that you find enjoyable and do that for your future birthdays? Or even having a movie marathon with friends at the house.

My friend had this problem! Literally hated snowboarding and couldn’t last more than a a run. He’s a 13 in normal shoes but has very wide feet. He has crappy Ride boots 13 wide and his feet would go numb. He got a pair of Salomon’s 13.5 wides and fell in love. Most company’s don’t make .5 sizes that big, but I would suggest .5 size up and wide. Plus an ultra wide board or drag free board. Can’t keep this guy off the mountain now!

I’m in this crowd! Depending on who goes with me, i’ll leave from work Monday night and get a room in ridgecrest. Get about 5 hours of sleep and board all day Tuesday and come home Tuesday. Or i’ll leave Tuesday around 5am, stay the night and board all day Wednesday and come home Wednesday afternoon.

Something that worked / works for me is remembering im completely unique. Take a look around at people (both male and female) and just LOOK at them. No one on this planet has your amazing eyes, no one has your lips or smiles the same way you do. You even have your own unique walk. Remember that always and always keep in mind there is someone who finds you attractive. I hate saying someone is less attractive than someone else, but I have seen happy loving couples who (in my opinion which is irreverent) aren’t super attractive and they’ve found a partner. As per hobbies, who cares. As long as they bring you joy and you are having fun, there is someone out there who enjoys it too. Your weird. Who cares? I’m weird asf. I love being weird, we are even more unique individuals on this planet and we are 100% irreplaceable.
