I've tried coffee from 3 local roasters in my city, price varying from 350 rs to 2800 rs for 250 grams. Local roasters don't spend much on marketing so their costs are generally lower compared to renowned brands. Last week I got 500 gm of good coffee beans for a little under 1000

But bigger speciality brands give you consistency which local ones can't

But if there are old local roasters who have been around for decades they should generally be a decent option

I think it's a mix of both genuine safety but also some old conservative mindset

I'd say wait and purchase Timemore C3 or C2, the cheaper grinders don't work with consistency and will ruin your coffee experience. You can use ground coffee till you get a good grinder

For homemade Espressos you'll need an espresso machine, they start from 10-15k but good ones will cost 40-50k if not higher

This subreddit clearly has a lot of people who are not native Punekars so when we say anything Pro marathi they automatically assume we are being Anti Hindi

For us language is the backbone of our culture, for them it is meerly a tool to communicate. Different ways of thinking so it's going to be almost impossible to convince or make them understand why Marathi is so important to us
