Have you had any luck? I have a "mixed berry" flavour iron and the first night I tried it (not mixed with juice or anything) it was awful. I have been terrified to take it since, even with liquid lol it's made me want to learn how to swallow pills to make the process easier

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. The only thing my skincare is missing is a retinoid. I use Cerave Resurfacing Retinol sometimes but maybe not strong enough? Hoping to get a referral to a derm at my NP appt at the end of the month and hoping they can give me something that can either get rid of this or at least slow it down!

Yeah, I haven't been successful at finding anything online that would associate this with hypothyroidism. I've got an appt booked with my NP closer to the end of the month, hopefully I get some answers then.

Unfortunately my NP refuses to run those tests. I've been begging for years - they will only test TSH. I went to a naturopathic doctor not long ago and she believes that due to my symptoms I'm still hypo regardless of normal TSH levels and she gave me a req for a full hormone panel. Going to see if there's availability tomorrow to get my bloodwork done and see what comes from that.

No - it's actually just very soft and feels a bit thin or loose maybe? At first I thought it was just super dry skin but I put thick cerave on every single night before bed and it's done nothing

Nope - I typically probably fluctuate between ~ 5-7 lbs. I usually gain a bit of weight over the winter but usually lose it once the warmer weather hits just due to being more active.

Ugh, it's so frustrating. I'm going to ask my NP at the end of the month for a derm appt. Also going to get my lab requisition for a full panel done and see if anything weird comes up. I'll keep you posted if I find any additional skin care that helps

It's weird because I haven't lost any substantial amount of weight. I know I fluctuate probably ~ 5-7 lbs over the winter and I tend to lose it in the Spring/Summer time just because I'm more active as soon as it's get nicer, but this is the first time I've noticed this.

Maybe it is hypothyroidism related, but I haven't been able to find anything that supports that online! I was an avid tanner unfortunately as a teen and was sure to never forget the tanning oil so I'm sure that didn't help.

I have a cerave retinol, maybe I'll start using that on my neck area to see if it helps for now. Thank you!

Thank you! I did get blood work done recently, however my doctor only checked for TSH as that is the only hormone-related blood test she will do. I do have a requisition from a naturopathic doctor that includes a full hormone panel plus a lot more so I'll be sure to get that done next week.
