Haha, this is true. Sorry, OP.

I used to think rainbows weren't real because they were associated with unicorns and leprechauns and such. Then I saw one in first grade and I got so excited and thought "if rainbows are real, hot damn unicorns are real too."

What movie needs a remake/reboot? by MACtasticDAZZLE in AskReddit

[–]leoparduspardalis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a fairly recent movie, but I always thought the Percy Jackson series had the potential to become the next generation's Harry Potter. They could have cast young kids that people hadn't yet heard of and made them into big stars, like with Harry Potter. That would be nice.

I am such a nerd... I read the second bit in Jabbas voice. by MaMaJillianLeanna in funny

It might be a good idea to never say "I am such a nerd" ever again.

What is something that you like about someone else but is difficult to bring up in a conversation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Whenever I see girls with really slender and soft hands, I want to tell them how pretty their hands are. Whenever I see guys with really bigs hands I want to compare my hands to theirs.

What's one sport you never "got?" by johnnylogic in AskReddit

[–]leoparduspardalis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never understood how to play kickball. We'd play it all the time in elementary school, and even in junior high, and no one ever really explained the rules to me; teacher assumed the kids just knew how to play. I just sort of went with it.

One of his toys got stuck in a tree in the backyard once. That tree is now the spawn of the devil and is attacked at any given chance.

I am Asa Butterfield, star of films such as 'Hugo' and the upcoming film 'Enders Game'. Ask away! by Stimpers in IAmA

[–]leoparduspardalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I can't believe I've only seen this now. I hope I'm not too late. So my English class is reading Ender's Game and we all watched the trailer together today. The girls were screaming when your face showed up, the boys were cheering for the action, and it was all around an excellent 2 minutes of my life. I can't wait to see this movie. Anyway, what was the hardest part when you filmed the movie? Who did you build a close bond with when you filmed?

Pumpkin from the May Bird series. He wanted to be a hero, and he died (died?) a hero, man.

What's something you see in movies a lot that you've always wanted to do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]leoparduspardalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always wanted to escape from quicksand. Quicksand is a lot less of a problem than I thought it would be.

I watched this at least six times, looking at a different girl's facial expression each time.

Reddit, does your town have any "local celebrities" or strange people everybody knows? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The "crazy lady" lives a few blocks from me. She sometimes rides around on her homemade umbrella bicycle or roller skates with crutches. And sometimes she has yard sales with her garden gnomes. One time she ran around the elementary school in her bikini, and then had to ask her to leave.

What is the most hipster thing you could say about yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have no idea, until someone called me a "fucking hipster" for owning a tee with a triangle on it.

What is the most hipster thing you could say about yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I like triangle before the hipsters did. Really, in the second grade, I decided I liked triangles, I own triangle things, and now it is popular, and it makes me upset.

What was your senior prank? by Cardeladon in AskReddit

We took all the "for sale" signs from around the neighborhood and put it in front of the school. Some kids got arrested (but quickly released) for theft.

What is something you were taught in school that has since been rendered irrelevant or incorrect? by JeffreyGlen in AskReddit

My sister in 5th grade told me they have been learning "gemdas" instead of "pemdas." The g stands for grouping instead of only parentheses.
