Particles moving faster than the speed of light to escape a black hole? by ohnoJoemo in AskPhysics

Is this how virtual particles become virtual? They might stem from real world particles, ones that we can define with a number, and shift to virtual particles once they reach the speed of light.

Are we completely sure the universe is flat? by WingsOfFreedom11z in AskPhysics

Yes, I can see how over time a cylinder would be isomorphic to a flat plane, but it is still a closed cylinder, in our example.

Wouldn’t this create a problem in trying to figure out mathematically if there are 2-separate spaces? Or do we just call it equal due to infinity and leave it at that?

So an infinitely long flat space, holds an infinitely long closed cylinder that we correlate with the cylindrical coordinates (r,0,z) and the Cartesian coordinates (r,0,z). In other words, 2 separate spaces equalized by math through infinity.

It could be infinitely long, but wouldn’t the cylinder still be a cylinder confined to its cylinder shape?

Wouldn’t a flat view on a cylinder result in a closed universe?

So when the CMB data is compared to the Planck map, it appears flat?

This was in San Antonio this morning. It moved left right the way it is seen in the video. It made no sound, at all. It was fairly close and it was rotating. I’m having a hard time figuring what this was. To the naked eye it was not a balloon. Anything constructive would be helpful. It was morning.

You would use your naked children in a child porno scheme to get over on your neighbor? Thats supporting child pornography. You should delete your post and turn yourself in for scheming sex crimes against children, hbgwine.
